The German high command is getting frustrated. There is a long, fine, summer turn, and it is wasted on having to react to what the Allied forces are doing. Instead of closing down active fronts like planned, the focus has shifted to remote areas where the opposition should have been neutralized already. The cost in not doing things properly when the forces where there the first time around is mounting.

When the going gets tough, the meek (Germany) must evaluate the situation and make new plans. And since we (Germany) are not all that tough, we can at least try to fake it.

New ideas.. need new ideas. Or try to get the old ideas to work. Anything thought at all on how to improve the situation?
