They say that you should learn something new everyday. Today, I decided to stay home and mow my lawn.
I learned a lot on the subject of rattlesnakes.

1) according to the University of Nebraska department of agricultures web site there are few rattlesnakes in my area , and they generally avoid people.
2) there is at least one such snake who apparently a) didn't visit the web site and read that fact. or b) that at least one such snake didn't hear, understand or care about it, and has little or no regard or people, their property or their LAWNMOWER!

Frankly , I'm going with #2 , or the concept I call for short, "The retarded rattler" .(To avoid hate mail or legal investigations, I submit to you that "mentally challenged rattlesnake" just doesn't cut it!). Not having time to get my shotgun and load it rocksalt, I simply used my lawn mower as an offensive weapon! (Weapon of grass destruction?). I do belive that the "retarded rattler" has learned to "Stay off the geezers lawn!". [:D] Of course with my luck, the little #$%%%$# will come back with reinforcements! [X(]

I'll tell you what....you PM me your address and if he comes back ,I'll send him to you![:D]

Sick day tithe.

My butt landed in the ER last night with a "complex migraine" and hypertension.

The Dr informed me that at my advanced age I should probably have a regular doctor to look after my decrepit carcass. [:@][:(]

Sorry to hear of that. I used to have regular migranes in college. I my case , cutting way back on caffine elimimated them. Sinus headaches yes, but no more migranes. For the hyper tension, you obviously need to get out the city. Somewhere quiet , with a much slower pace........some where like Nebraska! [:D]

It's the phone that does it. Using Apple products is known to cause hypertension.

T-I don't think he can hear you. He's trying to actually HOLD the phone to use it. Can you imagine that? Wanting to hold the phone so that it got a good enough signal?

I've been blessed enough to have never had a migraine until this one. I now understand how painful it is. [:(]

Yes, I was considering my caffeine intake s well. I usually have 2 cups a day. One of instant at home while tithing The Thread, the second, brewed, once I get to work. Perhaps I should eliminate the one at home.

GFU is convinced that my troubles are due to me not eating. I usually munch on a power bar at work and have a full dinner when I get home. But now that my work hours have gotten longer and other commitments have appeared as well, I tend to get home around 7-7:30 whereas it used to be 4:30-5.

As for the city. At the moment, I cannot complain. Its been close to 5 months and I still love my job. Nor is it unduly stressful. But if you can hook me up with a well-paying customer service gig in NE, I'll be glad to consider moving out there. [:D] GFU and I have been thinking about moving to a less pricey place after she is finished with college. Somehow, NC keeps coming up in my mind. [:D]

At the moment, I'm sipping on a cup of GFU's favorite Rooibos tea. [:)]

I have mine in a protective case. Have not had any problems. The reception and signal stability is the best I've had on any phone, including Sanyo, LG, Sony Ericson, and a few others I cant recall both with AT&T and Sprint.

i don't even know if Knockando and Glennfiddish are Green or Orange , but i like those [;)]

They are Scottish, and in theory that would make them closer to Orange. And I like them two! [:D]

MUCH closer. Indeed the Orange faction in northern Ireland is primarily Scottish people moved over there by the English during the Plantation. Google it.

Those Scots are the ones I'm descended from.

Went on an outing today to the Valiant Air Command (VAC) museum in Titusville, FL. I got lucky.

No, my people aren't from North Carolina. Kentucky->Missouri->Montana was their route.

The VAC has an F4F-4/FM1 Wildcat that was rescued from Lake Michigan and restored by a bunch of Grumman retirees living in Florida.

Would that have been Black Shadow Aviation in Jacksonville?[&:] If it was, then I saw that plane when it 1st came into the restoration hanger.
