We're excellent! I'm working for a great big German bank and I work from home almost every day. I can't wait for summer to get here so I can take the laptop out on the back deck to work, with frequent dips in the pool to keep myself refreshed. [8D]
Thats a great gig! I'm currently battling with the conundrum of whether I stick with my current work-from-home position, or go for something I actually enjoy. [:D]

Incidentally, the HD on my Mac went "kerplunk" the weekend before last. So I took the opportunity to put in a couple of SSDs. The difference is staggering. Would heartily recommend SSDs to everyone.
Yeah, my last work laptop had a hybrid HD, a few GB's of SSD and much larger storage on standard disk. With the OS on the SSD it makes a tremendous difference! I'm starting to do some research toward buying a new laptop later this spring (for my poolside work) and having at least a hybrid drive is high on my list of desired features. [:)]
Windows is windows. It'll slow down eventually no matter what. The difference on OS X is mind -blowing.

Politics? Isn't that a dirty word here? It would be more like taking ourselves seriously, and , as you are well aware, we avoid that like the plague here.
Sincerely hope that it still is. [:D]
The problem is, you guys arn't nearly as prolific as this other place I've been spending my free time in. Half a dozen posts since last night, and half of those INP spam? C'mon, what am I going to read over coffee? [:'(]

Howdy you rowdy rascals.
I need a break from current events and politics, so I came to the first place I thought of. Saw some of Chickenboy's jokes and decided that I've definitely come to the right address. [:'(]
Comrade Red Mouse! Welcome back! I think...
[;)]
I think I'd like to hang out for a while in a place where there's no politics. [:)]
Awww....cuz I was going to ask you what you thought of the situation in Eastern...
oh, never mind....

Well, you need to help us provide "meaningful" content to read then. Like this post.

What do you think my chances are of getting Mandrake to pay for a new Mac after I fry the current one by spluttering coffee all over it?

Well you could do worse than try the Australian Beauties thread in the General Discussion Forum.
Granted there isn't a whole lot of reading to be done, but I trust that you will find the thread, vis-a-vis its pictorial content, more than a tad pleasing to the eye.

If I remember the earlier incarnations of that, they ran out of "Australian" pdq. [:)]

Yes, but the content variation hasn't resulted in the thread suffering any. [8D] Check Curtis LeMay's most recent pinups for additional clarification.

Tis but a name Mr Mouse. The young ladies in question come from all four corners of the globe - although there are of course none from Min'soda as we do not wish to fighten any children that, happenstance would have it, stumble upon the forum.

Yep.
Eastern US is a bloody mess too. I flew out to NY for a conference early this month. Sometime between the time I took off and the time I landed they upgraded the forecast from "light dusting of snow" to "OMG! Snowpocalypse 2015! We're all gonna die!". Conference got cancelled and I spent the better part of a week cooped up in a hotel. [:D]
