The previous poster changed the title back to the old European Championships for some reason. I just switched it back.

I think I currently quite like football. Partick actually won yesterday, Spurs 2-0 up vs Liverpool and the 'Queens Eleven' lost 0-2 in their semifinal (only problem with this one is I now have to put up with the inevitable fall out).

Once again the NFL has failed to send 2 teams with winning records to London. <sigh> There are consolations.

Really didn't expect us Spurs to win today. For a team with no sugar daddy very proud of Spurs. Poor Everton are in big trouble.

Real Madrid result was amazing!
ORIGINAL: warspite1

A shame that Dortmund got that equaliser [:(]

Now, the big question - will Spurs be Spursy and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory (qualification for the knockout stages).

I suspect its going to come down to the final round of matches. Spurs will lose the next two games (Real Madrid (home) and Dortmund (away) and so have to beat Apoel....at home.... no pressure....but then hope Dortmund don't beat Madrid.

Most supporters of normal teams would look at the table this morning, off the back of a great result at the Bernebeu, and be happy and confident of progression. However I support Spurs. I hate football [:(]

Best, or rather weirdest, penalty kick ever. [:D]

I suggest you take a look even if you do not like football.

What is happening to English football (at junior level at any rate)?

Two World Cup wins now! The latest comes courtesy of the Under-17's. 2-0 down against Spain. They win 2-5!!

I hate stooooopid club football [:(][:@], but suddenly I like International football at youth level [:)][:D]

I appreciate the sentiment, but this is not required. It was merely the start of my prophecy coming true..... [:(]

Football is such a stupid, ridiculous game that is not worth the time and angst that it brings. Spurs, Fulham, Sheffield Wednesday, Plymouth, Exeter, Torquay - what have they got in common? Yep, that's right, I support the first and have a soft spot for the remainder - and guess what? They are all rubbish [8|]

Your club is ranked as the 22nd best in Europe. Most fans would cry of joy if their club was on the top 25 list.
