That is exactly what I am saying. 1127 beta applied, New Map with New Orleans and Suez, etc. In fact I just downloaded the patch (found at first entry of this thread) a second time and I can still disband, no click.

OK- I don't usually go looking inside of game files because I am computer inept. But, I did so this time. I have two different executable files for the game after applying the patch. The first file:

War in the Pacific Admiral Addition (file Ver- 1.8.11.27)
-When running that file no TF disband button. (and game runs fine)

Second file that I just saw:

War in the Pacific Admiral Addition_NoLLA (file Ver (the same)- 1.8.11.27)
-When running this version, yes, TF disband button

You might include a screen shot showing what you’re doing. I’ve had this installed in new game setup, installed into existing game location that I restarted from turn one.. plus copied the 1127 exe into an existing game and ran it for 40 turns and the disbanding of a task force always required a keyboard in all three locations.. plus you’re the only person who appears to be able to use the mouse….

Thanks for the note about the mouse. Like I said I am computer inept. When I stop using the mouse and hit the Y or N key the game starts running again- duh, stupid me.

But why I have two different executables for the game with two different game functions is beyond a bit surprising.

It was said that their are two different versions of the game because one of them had problems with Win 11, see this post.

I missed that information anywhere

That is a version without the 'use large addressing' option.
During some testing earlier, we found that the AE wouldn't run for some users with Win 11. Turning off the flag and the EXE worked fine.
So I'm throwing both versions out there in case others can't get the normal AE to run.

It is the same executable just with the option flag disabled.

Thank you for the info.

I notice the two diff executables don't have the same game functions. LLA has the disband TF Y/N function and the other (base?) doesn't. What other items don't function the same I don't know. FYI- I am on Win 10.

I'll just add from my perspective I dislike the TF Y/N function, as it makes game play hard with my disablities. It's just that everybody was speaking about it and, yet, it didn't appear in the game I was playing. Now I know why, two diff executables, but is that WAD or not?

I am trying to run the new update. I have installed a fresh base game and run the update. Now I can't seem to get my switches to work? Please help me...

"C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -dd_sw -w –px1920 –py1080 -r -altFont -skipVideo -DeepColor

Is my current switches - can anyone spot the problem?

My first question is what is not working?

One item I do notice that is not right is that -DeepColor is wrong, it should be -deepColor

Yes, of course - sorry about that. Ok, the game opens in a small window. I am trying to get it to open at my current resolution 1920x1080.

You could try using SeaBee to install it.

That made it full screen but still displays the game as 800x600 and not the 1920x1080 as needed.

If 1920x1080 is your default res then that could be the problem, as it happened too me pre Windows 10. I fixed it my using a res smaller then the default. Now, with Windows 10, I use this to specify the exact size I want, almost full screen but still a window.

Thank you all for the help. I managed to get it to work full screen with the help of SeaBee Alpha and some tinkering - the main issue was my display was scaled at 125% in the windows display settings. All good now, thank again.

Base Carnegie, #1667 has a port build size of 2, but it is in the middle of Australia, it should be size 0

Bases Kuala Kangsar ( #1605 ) and Port Dickson ( #1608 ) are of Type 6 - Secondary Airfield, WitP AE Tracker does not recognize
these bases exist, if they are changed to Type 1 - Port there is no problem and it should not affect them in the game.
I think, but am unsure, that the combination of Type 6 and having a Port build size of 1+ is the problem

Hello

Some Data Question // suggestions: (I took scen 01) But I think this will be also an issue in other scenarios

Ships:
3280 Boise => Question: Should the ship have a withdrawdate 08.06.1942 // return 15.11.1942? (Was in the Mediterranean)

Ship Class:
679 Lexington => Wpn 10 20 mm => Looks wrong maybe left side => see ID678

1046 Sendai => Wpn17 25mm => Question is this right also front as Wpn 16? Or Facing rear?

1055 Katori => Wpn17 Type 21 Radar => Should be facing to ALL Sides

2174 Soya => Wpn 6 13,2mm => Should be facing to Left Sides

3229 Leander => Cptain Bevan, Robert Hesketh should command the ship (this leader has to be created)
https://uboat.net/allies/warships/ship/4003.html

3230 Achilles => Leader 17167 Barnes,Hugh Merriman should command the ship
https://uboat.net/allies/warships/ship/4001.html

2390 Kanawha => Wpn 7 SG SS Rdar => Should be facing to ALL Sides

2483 Manoora AMC => Wpn 7 .303 cal Lews => Should be facing to Left Sides

2555 Pres. Coolidge => Here all AA Guns should be checked 20mm and 0,5 in

2625 C2S Mt. Hood => Wpn 7 20mm => Should be facing to Left Sides4

2669 C Hamul => Wpn 7 20mm => Should be facing to Left Sides

2678 C1 Acontius => Wpn 5 20mm => Should be facing to Left Sides

2679 C1 Acontius => Wpn 5 20mm => Should be facing to Left Sides

2688 LST Type-II => Wpn 8 20mm => Should be facing to Left Sides

3101 Bathurst => Wpn 5 20mm => Should be facing to Right Sides ?

4983 S-47 => remove cpatain Hayler (was captain later the captain of the USS Honolulu) (( James White Davis would be the correct one... but he is already appointed // other suggtestion would be Frank Edward Hayler, USN => Commanded the S-47 from 30. Sep 1942 till late 1944. But this leader has to be created.
See:
https://uboat.net/allies/warships/ship/4842.html

Leaders:
9010 Hayler, Robert W. => Should be Rank 28 or Type 04 (was promoted 1944 to rear admiral) => problem: a leader with rank higher 28 and Type 05 will vanish ingame because of the code restriction

8689 Conolly, Richard L. => Only suggestion Would promote him to 29 rear admiral (he was promoted July 1942 maybe put his delay to this date)

9311 DuBose, Laurance => Should be Rank 28 or Type 04 => problem: a leader with rank higher 28 and Type 05 will vanish ingame because of the code restriction

9782 Fletcher Frank Jack => Fletcher, Frank Jack

10158 Ginder, Samuel Paul => Should be Rank 28 or Type 04 => problem: a leader with rank higher 28 and Type 05 will vanish ingame because of the code restriction

12359 => McMorris, Chas H. => Should be Type 4 => problem: a leader with rank higher 28 and Type 05 will vanish ingame because of the code restriction
