• I moved the 3rd Ku T-1 (9 C5M2) from Iba to Legaspi and have set them to recon Roxas.

Capture Siquijor Isle in the PI
• TF55(1DD 1PB 7xAK)Amphibious @ Busuanga is loading the 2nd Sasebo SNLF Unit for an assault of Siquijor.

Build the 40th Brigade @ Manila
• The 79th INF Rgt. (125AV) is @ Keijo, Korea. I just attached this unit to the SA and am allowing replacements.

• TF299(1AV 2AK-t 1xAP)Amphibious is formed @ Amami Oshima and is en route to Keijo to pick up the 79th Rgt.

• TF110(1DD)ASW is formed @ Nagasaki with orders to merge with TF299.

Capture Cagayan in the PI
• TF377(1E 1DMS 5xAP)Amphibious @ Manila is loading the 16th Division for transport to Butuan.

• TF20(1TB 1PB 6xAK)Amphibious @ Saipan is headed to Babeldaob to pick up an engineer unit for transport to Butuan.

• Added AC to bomber units @ Bangkok and moved a few air groups about to stay under stacking penelties.

Build up Bangkok Airfield
• I’m sending the 4th and 23rd Indian Rgts that are at Singapore up to Bangkok to help speed up airfield construction.

Steve has 3 subs near Moulmein. Hunt them.
• TF291(1DD)ASW formed @ Rangoon and set to patrol Rangoon, Moulmein, and hex 54,55 with MR=2.

• TF283(2DD)ASW has already been formed and is patrolling Moulmein with MR=2.

Attack two Chinese Corps directly east of Moulmein sitting in the jungle.
• 13th Mixed Brigade (164AV) @ Moulmein is MOVing to hex 56,55 (0/46 miles) to engage the enemy.

Send supplies to Moulmein

Send supplies to Rangoon

Set Rangoon base up to serve as a hub for sub operations in and around the Thailand, Burma, & India theatres.

Send the 25th Army into Burma to push out the Chinese troops at Pegu and Rangoon.

Capture Semarang base in Java
• The 33rd Division is @ Soerakarta and marching on Semarang base.

• Upgrade the Genzan Ku K-1 to G4M1 Betty.

• Change attacks @ Soerabaja from Port to Airfield.

• TF72(2DMS 13 xAK)Cargo @ Tokyo is loading 52,540 tons of supplies for Balikpapan.

Attack a Chinese Corps blocking a road (and supplies) to Chungking.
• The 66th INF Rgt (126AV) is just west of the shattered Chines Corps and is MOVing to attack.

Steve has another blocking force of a shattered Chinese Corps on a road hex @ 72,47 that I need to destroy or remove from the supply route.
• The 66th Division (336AV) is @ 69,49 and MOVing to hex 70,49. FO is set to Chungking.

Send additional Engineers and armor to Chungking for the next assault.
• The 1st Engineer Rgt. (48AV), 1st Mobile Engineer Rgt. (48AV), & the armored 1st Mobile Infantry Rgt (124AV) are all at Changsha and are prepping for STRAT-MOV to Tuyun.

• 5 enemy sub engagements – both come up short

• Steve flies in a few more unescorted bombing attacks @ Rangoon/Moulmein. Easy prey.

• I do another naval bombardment @ Rangoon with typical poor results.

• I bombard Eniwetok, Palembang, Chungking, and ground units at and near Pegu with medium bombers for decent results. At Palembang I damage 7 P-39D and kill another on the ground while @ Chungking I damage 7 A-29A and kill another. Those kind of reports make me think of fog…

• Steve tried to sneak in the xAK Nora Moller to Soerabaja… I’ve got B5N2 flying out of Denpasar that drop 4 eggs on her. Hvy fires/Hvy damage are the news here.

• Later in the turn G4M1 flying out of Balikpapan tap the CL Concord and CA Exeter. Both show Hvy damage. I guess as fast as I egg them the repair facilities slap on Band-Aids and patch holes…

• Steve sends 20 B-17E to Truk. The destroyer Hatsuharu is lightly damaged (which seems strange when B-17 carry 500 lb. bombs but – hey – works 4 me!). I kill a B-17E with flak and damage 13 more with my CAP.
