RE: Gorn Yesterday DBB C me vs wyrmm
Moving forward in time to 4/15/43
These BBs had positioned themselves one hex out of range of my CVs, preparing for a night attack on Ndeni. That night, however I had moved my CVs one hex closer. Still out of torpedo range though.

4/16/43 His BBs showed up at the last location of my CVs, looking no worse for wear. They encountered only a couple of DDs. My CVs were screened by two powerful fast BB TFs. Also if he had gone to Ndeni, he would have encountered the slow BBs you see here.

In the a.m. my CV aircraft found them, again beyond torpedo range. I lost a lot of planes for nothing.

wyrmm reports sister's operation successful, everything OK.

4/26/43 Here is the situation in Burma. Rains almost every day, bogging everything down. Raiden evacuated Mandalay and I've occupied it. I seem to have captured quite a bit of supply there. I'll bet he forgot to minimize supply requirements there when he left.

China. The green arrow points to a place he's been (desperately?) trying to clear and recently deliberately overstacked there to accomplish that. I had reports of 52,000 IJA where the limit is 30k. His first attack yielded him heavy casualties with little to show for it. I think that's to be expected when you seriously overstack.

Raiden came back home from his stint in the French Foreign Legion (that's why we haven't reported in a while[;)]) and sent me one turn. Then they had to evacuate from their home because of the unbelievable heat wave. I hope he and his and his home are safe from the fires. Haven't heard from him in a few days.
I forgot to mention he lives in AZ.

Last week they were among the crews that saved all homes in the Doce fire that burned over top of Granite Mountain. This week they were not so lucky. [:(]

6/6/43 here's the results of some air battles over the previous couple of days. He got the better of it. This was mostly about action over Burma.

Here's the current situation in Burma. I must say I'm rather embarassed that he still holds Guadalcanal. I keep running into endless delays as I've been insisting on overwhelming force before attacking.

6/11/43 Yes, our first war is still going on (sporadically). Raiden's been periodically sending bombardment TFs up to Akyab at night. Last night's was a bit more eventful for him. Poor shooting on both sides.
