According to Royal Navy website, HMS Astute submarine can use HARPOON. DB3000 only shows it using the UGM-109 TLAM and Spearfish ::
http://www.armedforces.co.uk/navy/listings/l0037.html

Also, the Valiant class and the Churchill class appears to have had HARPOON capability. See:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Churchill-class_submarine
http://www.hmscourageous.co.uk/html/the_boat.html
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valiant-class_submarine

The RN Harpoon missiles were withdrawn 2007-2008 [8D]

Will look into the Valiant / Churchill Harpoon capability, thanks!

G'day :D

Baynunah class Corvette - UAE
Abu Dhabi class Corvette - UAE
Falaj 2 class Stealth Patrol Vessel - UAE
Kalaat Beni-Abbes LPD - Algeria

SIGMA 10514 PKR Frigate - Indonesia

All F-14 Tomcats:
Do you have sources for the loadouts with 8x MK-82? I know there were tests done with up to 14 MK-82, but to my knowledge four bombs were the maximum the Tomcat ever used in service.

Would it be possible to add a “magazine” to the DF-21D ASBM SSM battery? Assumed two reloads for each launcher = eight reloads. Not sure how long reloading would take though.

This is my third post. I should have started the first by saying that this game is absolutely outstanding, and the support from the CMANO team is probably the best I’ve ever seen. BZ! Now on to business: I’ve noticed that there are a number of inaccuracies with later units of the US Ticonderoga-class cruisers. For all the sub-variants from CG 52 (USS Bunker Hill) through CG 70 (USS Lake Erie), DB3000 has incorrect figures from 2010 onwards. Starting in 2009 all surviving units of the Tico class are being modernized to a common baseline under the Cruiser Modernization Program. The basic changes are as follows:
*SPY-1B(V) vice SPY-1A or -1B.
*SPS-49 removed.
*SPQ-9A replaced with SPQ-9B.
*SQS-53A or -53B replaced with SQS-53C.
*SQR-19 replaced with SQR-20 Multi-Function Towed Array (Besides being a regular towed array sonar, the SQR-20 significantly increases range of the active SQS-53C by operating as a bi-static receiver through the SQQ-89A(V)15 system).
*SLQ-32(V)3 replaced with SLQ-32A(V)3.
*61-cell Mk 41 VLS launchers replaced with 64-cell launchers (removal of reloading cells).
*Added ability to carry ESSM, SM-3, and (when available) SM-6.
*Mk 45 Mod 1/2 guns replaced with Mk 45 Mod 4 5-in 62 caliber guns and new GFCS.
*CIWS brought up to Mk 15 Block 1B standard.
*Mk38 Bushmaster 25mm cannons replaced with much improved Mk38 Mod 2.
*4x Mk 53 Nulka decoy launchers added if not already carrying them.
*Cooperative Engagement Capability added.

Modifications to CG 52-58 have already been completed. All US CGs not scheduled for decommissioning are being similarly modified at a rate of ~2-3 per year. I guess I'm not allowed to post links yet or I would include some with additional details and references. Rag or Mike you can contact me via e-mail if you need more info.

OK - I think I can post links now. Here are some detailing what was stated above:

Another request (I think I mentioned this in another thread but I thought I should re-post it here)...

Civilians – Generic
This is simply a platoon-sized group of unarmed people. It can move, it can be damaged or destroyed, but it only has eyeballs as sensors and it has no weapons (unless it is armed using the scenario editor). Basically, this lets the scenario designer add innocent bystanders, refugees, unwilling human shields, hostages, non-violent protesters, etc.

Hi All

Need some help digging up info to complete some of your requests. Combat Fleets 2013 and googling isn't coming up with much:

Indonesian missile boat KRI Clurit (KRC-40 Class)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KRI_Clurit

Anybody know the sensors these vessels carry?

Australia- Stonefish Mk. III fine. Lots of Mk.II out there but not so much on Mk.III any details would help.

Myanmar- Aung Zeya Frigates- Need sensor info. Vast differences between internet sources and paper sources on what SSM's are carried.

Thanks!

Is it possible to add DHC-6 Twin Otter, no need for several entries just one sivilian as they are pretty similar all of them but it needs an "Air Ambulance" and "Paratroopers" loudouts.

Thanks, Bjørn

I noticed that Italian Horizon class ship "Andrea Doria" should have TESEO Mk-2/A anti ship missiles but IG they don't have any. You put the exocet Anti ship missile on the french versions of the horizon so maybe you forgot about it ?
Because without it, it doesn't have any A-ship capability... Thanks in advance

Went through a bunch of more recent pictures and didn't see the box launchers. Combat Fleets mentions that the are provisions for but that they hadn't been fitted as of publication. If you can find a photo we'll add.

For now if you need it just add the mount. The missile is and launcher are in the db (FREMM uses it).

Thanks!

I'm not sure if this is already in the database or not, but I could not find it, and if it is not, here's a weapon that should be added...

A question...shouldn't rockets from MRLS like the Grad-21 be able to hit ships, too? Some of them can hit mobile units. If you can hit a mobile unit moving at 30 knots, shouldn't you be able to hit a ship (which is probably bigger than a tank or a truck) that's only moving at 15 knots (which is slower)? Or is there a reason why they can't be targeted against ships? Just curious. Thanks.

Some things to add / to change.
SS-N-12 Sandbox (P350, P500, P1000) and SS-N-19 Shipwreck (P700) have a land attack submode. They are not the most accurate missles for land targets but with the help of their INS navigation they are capable to do that.

Germany 2014, Italy 2018 (both with Eurofighter), France 2018 (Rafale), Sweden 2015 (Gripen NG) will get the Meteor AA missle. Currently only UK is has Meteor in game.

The german ships of the Sachsen (F124) and Brandenburg (123) class can operate two medium sized helicopters and have place for them in their hangars.
The Bremen class (F122) can handle medium sized helicopters only on their pad (hanger is for two small one - so hangar is already correct).
Brandenburg(F123) class will get ESSM SAM in 2014, but I don't know if in quad or single packs.

Japanese 1-Go class patrol boats are missing. They are pretty much the same as the italian Sparviero class with different weapons.
Instead of the 76mm gun they have a three barell 20mm M61 cannon and instead of the two Otomat missles they have four SSM 1B Type 90 missles. They have a ) General Electric LM500 gas turbine instead of the Rolls Royce turbine and are 3knots slower, only 47 knots.

Re-reporting: Not super priority because nuclear war is boring and the Advanced Cruise Missile was in reality an Advanced Gravity Bomb, but entry

#567 B-52H 1991 AGM 129A has no AGM-129As in aircraft stores or loadouts.

That's an interesting statement [:)]. Care to elaborate?

I can't first hand or provide evidence, it only comes from being the son of a 30 year BUFF guy, the missile never really hit targets, I think my dad talked about hitting some research station miles away from the target (not sure if in or out of the impact area of the range) I remember it was a big deal because they had to close air lanes to shoot Utah from North Dakota - and it failed. There were other times where the motors just never ignited and the missile just plummeted to earth.

Think about it, the missile entered service in 1990ish and is already retired with the 86 having continued development and suggestions to create a conventional conversion of a stealthy missile were rejected in a world of dwindling numbers of missiles - with these 400 or so already built.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist(pun intended)....
