The French aren't surprised, so could fight over Metz.

Germany counters with a Bf-109.

The French exact a heavy toll. I land them back where they came from.

What an air combat! I did not know French can fight...

When AllenK is doing the air combat, Murphy's Law applies. Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.

I've sent the game file over to Warspite1 to do the Japanese and Italian moves. Will pick up the action when it comes back.

The Italians continue to play in the sand while the Japanese walk about a bit in the mountains.

Back to AllenK for the rest of the impulse.

Germany declares three combats. At Metz and Antwerp Engineer and O-chit doubling are used. Germany flies a Do-17 to support the Antwerp attack and He-111 the Metz attack.

Do the French wish to fly ground support to Metz?

The Metz odds are 37.3333:7 5:1 but that's without the He-111.

The LND3 flies defensive ground support. If it survives it lands west of Paris.

No, thank you. Just the bomber for defensive ground support.

Germany scrambles a Bf-109 to intercept the French bombers.

The Germans exact a measure of revenge for the previous debacle.

Any units that can advance two hexes in the attack on Metz?

Edit: Never mind. Assault on all attacks.
