Game Ended: Lonerunner Allies beat Petedalby Axis in April 44.

Axis took all 3 Russian capitals but no Russian surrender. Having bet the the bank on a surrender the Germans were over extended and taken apart by the Allies. Another loss for me but still a most enjoyable and challenging game. Lonerunner is a great opponent.

I can make some notes, but from what I have read on these forums, I am not sure the game will be very long. However, my defensive setup works against most players, and I am interested to see how fast and in which manner Fafnir is gonna crush it completely

Another loss for petedalby. Allies win in July 43. Botched Poland - botched France - should probably have conceded in 1940. Thinking of changing my user name to speedbump or roadkill.

But still a very enjoyable game and learned more stuff from Jackmck.

Powerhouse mirrored match, love it. Some real UFC fighting going on here.

Fafnir plays an obscure power game, like Bobby Fisher of Chess. He's arguable, the Top Player in the world with HamburgerHill. His game is disgustingly good. Flying Knees, Round-House Kicks, Ground 'N Pound. I've experience this dude's wrath, it's not pretty. Ugly. Flat out nasty. I'm feeling the pain, as a I type.

Marcinos1985 might be the nicest guy in this league. I've faced his methodical, abrasive, & grinding Allied strategy. Had this Euro on the ropes, actually taking England, but to be tossed like a ragdoll by the Ivan Big Red Machine. This guy is a Beast with Allied ground troops. Battled this guy twice, in Monster North Africa battles, got my lights put out. Put me to sleep.

Marcinos1985 (Axis) v Fafnir (Allied) --- Fafnir is a HUGE favorite. Sorry, I gotta book-it like I mean it. Marcinos1985 is more of an Allied player, far as I know. Fafnir is Wrath, a Destroyer. Fafnir is -700 favorite. Yes, 7 to 1 favorite.

Marcinos1985 (Allied) v Fafnir (Axis) --- Game balances out here. Speed of Fafnir's Axis is absolutely critical in this one. Fafnir monster moves will be more primitive as the Axis, thus making him beatable. Paris will get sacked on schedule, not sure if he'll flirt with SeaLion or Africa. Doubt it. Fafnir's U-boat is probably artistic, some real Rembrandt sh-t. This guy will be a sneaky Jap too. Maybe an India Arm Wrestle move? Austrialian Gambit? Manchuria to Urals help? Who knows. I do know this: Marcinos1985 will not quit, will make his opponent beat him. Fafnir -250 favorite.

This mirrored set is big, real big for rankings. Top Dogs are gonna tangle. Machinos1985 is at the bottom of the Top Class, has lots to gain. Is Fafnir a true Champion or just a man with tricks?
