AGN Turn 53

The main effort in the North Now is to push the Russians back as far as I can and capture Tikhvin and even Cherepovets and Vologda.

I may not get that Far but i will give it a go.

Moscow Turn 53

The City is encircled at last but the line is thin in some places I don't know if I can stop a breach if the Russians try to open a corridor to the city.
Not only that the city's defences are huge this is going to take some work.

AGC Turn 53

South of Moscow I trap a number of enemy units, I am still concerned that Rayazan is not secure so i am also trying to widen the perimeter there.

I am also redeploying several 2nd Pz units and sending them to Moscow, the July deadline is going to pass so I want to push the enemy back as far as I can so I can attack Moscow and rotate troops back and forth to wear down its defences without worrying about Russian counter attacks disrupting the operation.

AGS Turn 53

The plan in the south is pretty much the same, drive the Russians back secure Rostov and open a rail line to Krasnodar and Maikop.

Stalingrad in my view at this time is to far away, my aim in the south is more to destroy the Russian army with encirclement's.

This will take time and time that will probably delay me reaching the city

Losses Turn 53

The ratio in losses is still good, with the weather still good it gives me chances for my mobile forces to trap the Red Army in pockets.

Making good ground against the Red Army.

I also released my 2 Korps that I had in reserve and railed them to the front.

The remaining 4th Pz Armee units have arrived at Moscow

Moscow Turn 54

As I thought might happen a counterattack by the AI opened a corridor during its turn but i sealed the city off again.

Reinforcements from 2nd Pz are securing the perimeter now.

AGC Turn 54

Like wise South of Moscow the AI attacked and opened another pocket and 2 tank Corps slipped away before I could close it again.

They were my prime targets, the line looks more secure now though

AGN Turn 55

18th Armee has reach the Finnish frontier, Tikhvin should be captured in the next turn or two.

Change of plan with my 2 reserve Korps, I am sending one to Moscow it will be assigned to 4th Pz.

As well as continuing to push the Russians back to the Rybinsk Reservoir I did a lot of reorganising, I have Divs all over the place on the map.

Different Divs muddled up with each other and together there parent korps.

AGC Turn 55

The Moscow perimeter widens.

Here also I had Armee's , Korps and Divs all over the place so again while pushing forward I began to really get the Armee's in order.
Despite Moscow being isolated its going to be a tough nut to crack, this could take a while.

AGS Turn 55

Here to redeployment and reorganisation of my forces.

1st Pz destroys the pocket in the process.

I captured Maikop but during the AI turn it was recaptured, which didn't matter as it was not enough for the sudden death check.

More heavy losses, would have been better if I had got those two tank corps, next time.

AGN Turn 56

On the Northern Front The Red Army seems beaten as both 16th & 18th Armee's push them back.

This is well and good but its certainly putting a strain on my supply lines.
