as one can see from the above pix on 06 09 44, things are moving along.. no kami attacks of late.. although Z creamed me in a surprise attack near MArcus... the uber death star lurks near now... lusting "wimp blood"
the PI main assual is not happening to allow for those pesky little Islands to be attacked..
and airbases closer to land be built up etc.. supplies are a biotch when You have five offensives at once

In Borneo I am actually facing a determined foe.. I have commited 4 div and now may send the rest of the reseerves in soon to push throuth these strongly fortified bases...

In Maly all is well as troops continue to blitz toward SP and my infantry army from former Burma glory is advancing on Bankok

That was a brillant attack by Z I am kind of amazed he pulled it off, the war is not over yet, unless your an American CVE [:D].

Zeta do you care to comment on how you pulled this off? I want to know, so that I can avoid having Blackwatch do it to me when our game hits 44.

well, I was close to his port.. I was not paying attention.. I had few planes if any on search.. basically forgot he had teath.. and he saw me there pounding Marcus with a small tf... so he crushed my nuts! WAAA

Interesting to not I just sent anouther 6 cve to join the Uber DS patrolling./bombing Marcus IS. come out and play now my emperor(sic)

Goertown is beseiged.. soon it will go down as will Singkawangoobob, then on to Singapore

The last of the Tiny islands of the coast of the main Island in PI fell.. now its the great PI buildup... boy I could use anouther 200 AK/AP to help speed this process up!...

It does seem that Z is looking for a showdown at Bankok! GREAT!

the reserve army in Batavia now is a shell having sent the armor to the Maly area and the infantry in part to Borneo... and the army in the PI area is still being readied

Hey Tom, think I should send the DS to attack Tokyo?

Sending the big CV fleet to raid Japan is an interesting question. If it goes there and wins than Z just gets weaker. If it goes and gets attritted then your advance slows down.

I would go if you have a pretty good idea that Z is not ready for you. If you think he has been saving up strength in Japan to pound you when you come into range then I would wait until your heavy bombers have beaten him up some.

The 300 plane strike was pretty impressive and he got 10 to 1 odds against your CAP. Clearly if he can do that to your main CV TFs you just don't want to go there.

I doubt he could do 10 to 1 but what happens when he has 2 to 1? or 3 to 1? If he can get through at those odds you could hurt, especially if some of what gets through is Kamikazis.

Sorry I can't give a better answer than that, but I have no idea what Japan is holding in reserve and that is the big question.

I am sure I can put up more cap than he can escorts.. I have a huge mambo fleet, but he could use his reserves and really hurt me if some Kami groups get through...
I am not in a big hurry, and I have another large cv group coming out to play soon...
soooo Marcus is the target, and if has the balls to interdict we shall have another sea battle

Where you surprised at how quickly Maly is being over run? I am

Well, PI is getting ready.. and sneaky Z sent some planes into those bases in French Indo and took out 16 B29s.. actually only one from air to air 15 from flak!
Bankok is besieged.. and gorgetown I own and now have planes operating out of.. and the last bases standing between my army in Maly and Singapore will be quickly over run... seems deserted save SP... expect operation Minilla freedom soon... after we get some air power into the area.. the base near Mainilla is being built up as we write...
Tacklaban is a four and increasing.. these two will be my forward air bases for htis area of operation.. MArcusss is being attacked again soon and troops are marsheling for hat attack...

and near OZ released into serves OZ home gaurdd divisions are attacking now.. landing away from the port and marching overland as little preperatory work has been doon.. several more OZ and US divisions will be released as things heat up..

Short term goals.. finish attacking in Borneo and take Singapore.. finish Marcus Island mini campiegne and continue to build up for PI attack... take Bankok if possible.. estamites are over 200K Jap troops and they easily beat off my first deliberate attack with 100kplus.. go figure!

mid term goals.. establish forward iar and sea base at Marcus.. Crush the PI prep for next grand attacks into ? ****** restricted information...
hint the NAvy want to attacck the HI and MAc is pushing for something completely in Charactor.. think Inchon!

This some thing I do not get. On my intel screen it said I shot more down and less were lost to flak. I always thought the intel screens were right. Are they does any one know?

how screwy... it would make sense that more where lost to a2a as they where at 21k.. can flak do anything to a bomber at 21k? good luck... of course it can but at Saigon? I was worried about the dreaded Kamis as troopships just landed some US marines near Singapore....
SP is now the last base in the Maly Zone! PI is being put off again for latter as noted above... cleqaning up in Borneo.. and builing up in PI for the Manila liberation operation slated for fall...

in other news a heavy tf compossed of BB and CA with escort bombed MArcus causing significant port and gun damage... DS is headed that was too after adding several new cve's .. I think the total is somewhere around 35 total flattops! come to daddy Emperor Z!

On my intel screen it says that I have taken 1 B29 down by flak for the war. 16 to ops and 58 to A2A.

Well because of his death star I am forced to do these hit and run attacks. It's the life of Japan in the summer of 44. I have Franks now, they are OK planes with skilled pilots flying them. So are the Tony's and Georges. I am not real impressed with the Jacks, and it is hard to deal with the Zekes since it is a battle to replace and reinforce their groups. 35 carriers is a scary thought. I have stopped him at Bangkok since I left Mayla in a withdraw so I would not get trapped there. I am kind of proud of this move. My Mayla army is rested and has high moral and is taking him on there. My Burma army has withdrawn to rest and rebulid after there fights from Akyab to Mouliem? China is well bulit to defend and may be able to still casue him some pains. If I last until the start of 45 in good shape I will be really happy.
