It's actually the Energizer Bunny, not Duracell. Is that just a pic you found or did you make a battery bunny on your own?

Klydon, yes, you're correct, I didn't mention this. Or perhaps I did at the start of the AAR. Nevermind [:)] On the 2nd, 3rd or 4th turn (I don't remember exactly) I bought quite many support units, especially for the STAVKA Armies I had concentrated in the center: especially Construction Bns (at least two of them are right now repairing the captured rail hexes in the AGN area). I guess I should buy even more contruction Bns, Bdes and other support units for the blizzard operations.
Your analysis is I suspect 100% correct. Logistics (I should have paid attention to them!) may be a big stopper therefore possibly NO big push in the north and encirclement of the whole German front north of the Pripyat Marshes.
And whilst we are at it, on the next turns I will start retreating the most experienced divisions from the front... They should form the reserve armies that should exploit any breach in my opponent's defense (during the blizzard operations that is). This is a tip from the manual itself [8D]
So an ideal situation would be: Shock Army + experienced divisions + Top Ace commanders + plenty of support units
Randall, I found the pic, no photoshop. Different companies I guess [:)]

Oh, and one more thing. I will be using Big Anorak's suggestion: the x fronts allowed to attack from turn y to turn z thing...
NOT because I think the "blizzard is broken". As I see it, they have yet to prove it. All I see is INEXPERIENCED German players struggling to survive. But those who know more DID survive (the testers). At least that's what they said [8D]
So, as you may imagine I want to use this rule because er, my opponent might be in deep trouble: the things he has already done...

YES!!! Finally the first turn of mud is here!! [&o] It has been a surprise to my opponent though [:(]
Well, as Q-Ball predicted, er, 5 divisions of his AGS Panzers might be in the bag too. The thing is, if I attack the CV will be divided by 8. Will I attack them? Hehehe, all I can say is either my pixel truppen will be swallowing a lot of mud or facing the firing squad...

This poor bastard should have picked something else to be his first wargame. [:D]
Maybe something with a manual small enough that he would read it.

I would have prefered to paste the pic of two girls fighting in the mud. But it's not allowed, I suspect [8D] Who would have thought it! [&:] First his AGN Panzers, now his AGS comrades [8|] What's next? His AGC chums?

I can just imagine a cross major river hasty attack in mud.[:D] He probably DA'd though.
All of those divisions working against the attacker
TD, yes your attacking CV's will be divided by 8
But you must remember the +1 odds modifier
All you need is 1:1 on modified CV to turn the final battle odds 2 to 1 in your favour

Now that is just wrong and mean. I thought I was resilient when it came to rough games. But this guy just keeps coming back for more. Mercy on the poor lad, he needs it.

RE: Stalin's fired, I'm in charge! - Tullius (Soviet) vs SireChaos (Axis)
Ok, this AAR is getting obscene. And no, I am not thinking about the "mud fight" [:D]
I think I am going to stop it HERE... As I said in some other comment I will play this game as long as my opponent wants to keep playing. The loyalty thing [8D]
So what about some conclusions? Well, I will not say anything about the German game. Everyone who more or less followed this AAR knows pretty well what happened. As 501waff said "[...] made reading this post the equivalent of watching a car crash".
As for the Soviets, my own opinion: humm, this game has been truly weird but yes, I STILL think I learned something after all [8D]
To me the most important thing was: HAVE A PLAN! And yes, I had one. In fact that was very easy. I simply followed Soviet strategy: concentrate the STAVKA reserves in the center. Then protect at all cost Moscow and Leningrad. And then avoid the destruction of the Red Army.
And obviously, from the destruction of the German divisions what should be the conclusion? As a Soviet, if you see a weak spot in your opponent's defence:GO FOR THE JUGULAR!!!!!
If the plan fails, at least you might slown him down (that was my primitive idea) one or two turns [:)] And that might save your Soviet's ar** on 1941, who knows!
And again, I will repeat what I said one or two pages ago: "I [or any Soviet player for that matter] should not have been allowed to do what I did. NEVER". And "This AAR is a total abnormality. No one should draw conclusions, which might be totally erroneous ie Germans too weak or Soviets too strong".
And finally, thank you everyone for all the kind advices. Highly appreciated! [&o]

Well, as I said I am stopping this AAR (not the game). Still... 1 turn is taking 1 week [:(] Way too long. I would like to start another game, as Soviet, just like this one. So any German player wants to play a game? I know real life is much more important than a simple game so all I'm asking is at least 2 turns per week [8D] If anyone is interested let me know [:)]

Your very picky only wanting to play German players![;)]
It's a shame your AAR has to end. I think all the initial AAR's have gone now.

Let's say I don't want to be in charge of the fascist hordes [:D] The truth is I prefer the Soviets [8D] And I am not skilled enough to play as the Germans, I think. I am convinced about this: as a noob (and that's what I am) the German side is harder. Yes, you have the rutilant Panzers which kill everything on their path... but if your Blitzkrieg fails...
Well, I might resurrect this AAR. But to do so my opponent should become some sort of Manstein = a normal game. Don't know if this is going to happen. He will possibly give up now. 5 more Panzer and Motorized divisions on the bag [8|]

Yeah Soviets are easier.
The Axis are a finely tuned machine.
They need a special driver to get the best results.
Its kinda scary how quickly the good players can get to Leningrad.
I'm playing the AI, it has made more progress in 11 turns than your opponent. This is on hard.
With hardcore checkboarding/fighting retreats on my part.

Sure, I will take the Germans if you want. I don't think I will lose that many of my panzer forces that fast. So, if you want a game, let me know via PM or here.

Alright [:)]
Well, YOU are supposed to spank me
not the other way around. At least until blizzard
What patch should I be using by the way? As for the rest: FOW, non random weather and if a new patch does not appear, we can use Big Anorak's rule: the "x fronts allowed to attack from turn y to z" thing.
Oh, and I am avoiding the server. PBEM is fine?

I am up on beta 6. But going to go ahead and upload the official verison 6 even though there are no changes from beta 6.
No problems at all with any of those options. Old school works for me. I will PM you my email and we can crank this puppy up and see what happens.
Added, I currently work a 7 on and 7 off schedule so can crank turns pretty quick until late Spring, then turns will slow down because I will be working 100+ hours per week until next Sept. But can still give min 2 a week easy.
