Turn 10 End of Turn

10ths Army area

****Please note**** That I cater my defense based on the player I am playing. Everyone has their own pattern ;-) Plus I have no problem intermixing fronts and units for numerous reason if you see me doing it.

Turn 11 Beginning of Turn

Crimea

No attacks in the Crimea area turn 11. I brought in 6 more divisions from Reserves this turn to just North of Sevastopol. Fort areas are progressing but not fast enough. I transferred in more Eng's to speed this up. Both Armies in the Crimea and the Front HQ has been flushed out with Artillery. Air power in the Area has 3 fighter groups, 1 SAD, 14 SAD, & 15 SAD and 1 bomber group, 6 SAD along with a Transport group.

Will bring in another Army and more reserves I believe depending on how the rest of the fronts look. Will take a harder look at everything on the map since I just got the turn to make that determination.

Yes, I have a "TON" of fighters and transports down here ;-) Told you I was defending HARD.

There are some green triangles on the map and we all know what those mean, right?

I think that the numbers do reflect a bit on the skill set. Keeping your losses lower or higher while inflicting lower or higher on the other is somehow related to skill. Also the numbers of captured to killed or disabled.

I guess what I am trying to get at is just an idea of where one would sit by certain turns. Just to give your self and others a gauge is what I was thinking or trying to find out.

Like the air war on turn one for example, prior to any ground movement and the AD selected, number of your losses and the number of the Soviet losses.

I guess the HWM and the SD are also a gauge as well?

I try to maintain 200K Soviet losses/turn as the Axis vs the Soviet AI. I try to do the same against Human Soviet players but they run away too fast sometimes. :)

I definitely believe that the Sudden Death and Sudden Victory targets are good ones to gauge your performance with. They are also great planning guides as you seek to avoid the first and make the second.

Have to admit I have no "clue" who the hell Thanos is. So I had to look up. I am still lost :(

This statement Zovs is 100% true. I had way over 200+ games as Germans in WITE1 and figured out where the line would be based on the conglomeration of all those games. I used it as a yardstick. Granted I only did like 20ish games as Soviets but only after all of my German games. Therefor I had a pretty good idea where to start fighting.

Now in WITE2 I have no such knowledge but was able to piecemeal guess where that line would be. I will fine tune it in the future and based on opponent. But yes, your thinking is spot on ;-)

Ya, anything over 150k turns 2-7 is a blessing in my opinion. (I only reference Head-to-head games by the way)

I personally don't try and go for the turn 16 Sudden death as Germany now. I think the early Apr 42 is the best one to go for the win. Of course you have to keep the Red Army under control to do so ;-)
