Interesting, I too built an ATR4 for Japan and had intended to use it the same. I even setup the Chinese fighter to try and counter. That fine print in the rules is not something I am strong with. Anyway, I think Japan is in a pretty strong position regardless but I can understand it being annoying. I was annoyed when Axis got to move first if it's any consolation .

Hello Lads, from the 2 June until 24 July I will be on a holiday in Europe for my once in a life time overseas adventure. I will be doing tours of Normandy D Day beaches and the Somme while in France among a lot of other things. Some good things to do in England, Duxford war museum and Blexley Park. I had intended to take my laptop and continue gaming while away however I have decided my time would be better spent on having a holiday and keeping my wife happy. This will mean my gaming activities will have to be put on hold from the start of June until my return. I'm happy to continue the games then if you are willing. Apologies if this causes you any issues.

I am sorry about the late reply. I wanted to get the picture, and link, to Mont-Saint-Michel that I think is well worth a visit. It is located just west of Normandy, in Brittany (often listed as part of Normandy). Just in case there were some open time for additional excursions. Beware, that it is a tourist magnet so check beforehand if any rules regarding visiting applies, and if there are none; be there early. The time to travel there can take a while and during a summer day it can be very crowded and very, very warm. My point: be there before the tourist horde arrives.
