That impulse just about guaranteed the conquest of Germany.

By the way, are there land units under the planes in Aachen, Dusseldorf, and Konigsberg, or is it all just planes and ships?

Here was the impulse's German losses, if I counted correctly:
HQ-ARM, 2xHQ-INF, ARM, MECH, 2xINF, 3xMIL, CAV, GAR, ARM XX, MECH XX, MOT XX, AT.

This does not count the large number of German units that got cut off this turn, or the big ARM shattered off the map. The complete collapse of the northern German line against the western Allies was unexpected, after the Germans had managed to slow the Allies down until now. The disaster in the east was inevitable, but still impressive. Depending on the weather, the fact that the Konigsberg synth is still producing might be irrelevant. It might be in Russian hands.

At least the Germans don't have to worry about the Russians getting a production multiple any more. [:)]
I thought I knew how to play this game....

One thing: The Russians should start thinking seriously of a Finnish campaign, because otherwise Germany won't be finished!

The OKH is already destroying important papers and preparing for evacuation to Finland. Or Rumania. Or Bulgaria...

Turn 31. Sep/Oct 1939. Allied #4. USMC. Land Combat.

By the way, today July 11, 2016 is the 218th birthday of the USMC, founder on this day in 1798.

The USMC dates itself to 10 Nov, 1775.

Not being a Marine I don't know which date they claim. July 11, 1798 was when the Marine Corps became an independent branch of the Military.

"Nov. 10, 1775, may be the commonly celebrated birthday of the Marine Corps, but it wasn't actually established as its own branch until about 23 years later." Reference:

I sincerely apologize if I have offended any US marines. [;)]

By the way, did you turn on a time machine? Sep/Oct 39? [:)]

Turn 32. Nov/Dec 1944. Axis #5. Weather.

The fine weather of the last two impulse pairs turns suddenly in the Arctic and north temperate, but probably too late for Germany.

Turn 32. Nov/Dec 1944. Allied #7. USSR. Land Combat 1.

I wasn't paying attention when I designated this land combat. I thought since the partisan was zero-strength that this attack would be automatic. That'll teach me not to pay attention when designating attacks!

All I can say is that it's better to be lucky than good. [:)]
