It appears that the first RCN aircraft in 1946 had simple maple leafs on them with Fleet Air Arm Roundels...

FAA markings in the PTO were either camouflage (late 1944 early 1945) or gloss sea blue (late 1945); with the SEAC "bar roundels" -- so probably make variants of those two with a red Canadian maple leaf on the fuselage?

Here's a RCN TBM-3 Avenger circa 1945. I'll probably do a USN Avenger next, since we don't have any "sea blue" Avengers for the USN for 1945 anyway.

Ryan,
Here's a USN navy-blue TBM circa 9/45 I have in my ART folder:

.bmp files (side, top, alpha) attached as a .zip
I'm not sure if that's what you were looking for, but hopefully it will save you the effort.

RE: Shep's Graphical Artwork (Planes, Ships, etc)
Since I have the avenger bitmaps, I might as well modify them to make the FINAL TBM Avengers for 1945-46.
##########
TBM-3E For USN -- Basically a TBM-3 with a stronger airframe, a search radar now standard and the ventral tunnel gun deleted for weight savings.
###########
TBM-4 for the US Navy and the Avenger IV for FAA -- Strengthened to 5g loadings, allowing steeper dive bombing attacks.
BuNos were:
97673 General Motors XTBM-4 Avenger prototype
97674 General Motors XTBM-4 Avenger prototype
97675 General Motors XTBM-4 Avenger prototype
97676 to 98601 General Motors TBM-4 Avenger production contract, cancelled with end of war.
###########
TBM-5 for USN and Avenger V for FAA (Assumed FAA name).
XTBF-3 airplane BuNo. 24341 was modified under TED Project NAM 1701 as a prototype for the XTBM-5 aircraft. Modified from a three place to a two place airplane by the removal of the .50 cal. turret and .30 cal. tunnel gun and installation of two .30 cal. flexible guns in lieu thereof. The radio gear has been relocated for operation by the radioman-gunner. Other modifications consist primarily of general clean-up of the airplane to improve its aerodynamic qualities, consisting of:
The ventral step was faired into the fuselage
Wing slots sealed
Gear doors installed to fully enclose the wheels
Jet augmentation exhausts added to the engine.
Finally, wingspan was extended by three feet. Flight testing began in June 1945, but the project was terminated after VJ-Day.

Been away for awhile. I'm glad to see the modding community is still in full swing! A lot of good art work here that I'm going to have to grab.
Keep up the good work!!!

Here's the XTBM-5 prototype. I assume the rear guns were now like the ones on the SB2C Helldiver; behind a drop down rear canopy.

In game artwork example for TBM-5 (don't use this image, use the PNG file in the ZIP file in my last post).

Dear Ryan!
Any chance for an updated version of your unified artwork file? The old links are broken
