Spain builds a large corps. Germany sends aid to Romania and builds two large corps.

Romania builds a large corps. Italy builds a mountain corps. Germany sends aid to Spain.

Turn 119: March 10, 1944

Clear weather comes to northern Russia - time to withdraw.

Spain builds a large corps. Germany sends aid to Italy.

Turn 120: March 24, 1944

Rain.

Italy builds a mountain corps. Germany keeps sending aid to Italy.

Turn 121: April 7, 1944

Clear skies but still cold in Europe. No doubt the Allied assaults will begin.

Italy builds a mountain corps. Germany sends aid to Romania.

Turn 122: April 21, 1944

Spain puts up a good fight on the east front but loses a corps.

Germany sends aid to Hungary and builds two large corps.

Turn 123: May 5, 1944

Conventional wisdom would be to stay on the defensive in 1944, but we go on the offensive and shatter the elite 7th army,
destroy the 16th mech corps.

Hungary builds a large corps. Germany sends aid to Romania and builds 100 supply trucks. Italy builds a mountain corps.

Conventional wisdom would be to attack with the place you have 9 panzers sitting around, but that's just me. You let the Soviets get the drop on you in 43, and that was a mistake, but you obviously learned from that and decided to get your licks in first this time.

There is no reason whatever to passively wait Soviet attacks when you've got that much fresh armor on hand. I would attack myself.

I do wonder how much you can rely on the Spanish to hold the line before they are used up. They look rather fragile to me. But that is all the more reason to attack before they are spent.

The Soviet edge in air is pretty scary. They've got you outnumbered 2-1 and you can hardly put much more up there than you've got.

I need to keep reserves in case the Soviets penetrate. If I'm caught without fresh panzer reserves it could cost me the game.

Turn 124: May 19, 1944

Three panzer divisions and a Spanish corps shatter in the Soviet assaults.
The Western Allies invade and take Amsterdam.

The Axis start leaving Africa. Reinforcements are railed in to contain the landings in the Netherlands.

In the east we take a step back. Germany sends aid to Spain.
Romania builds a large corps.

Turn 125: June 2, 1944

One German and one Spanish corps shattered, Italian paratrooper shattered (at Misurata).
Allies take Rotterdam, which gives them two size 9 ports.

Counter-attacks in the west eliminated one corps and two divisions, but the air war is going
decisively against us.

Counter-attacks in Russia shatter one mech corps. Soviet forces in the south are quite weak, we can pull reinforcements from there if needed.

Germany sends aid to Spain and Spain builds a large corps.

Turn 126: June 16, 1944

Spain and Finland lose a corps shattered each. Soviet paratroopers overrun 2 air units.

In the east we eliminate the two paratroopers. Not sure why SillyFlower would waste them like that.

In the west we go all in on Rotterdam, eliminating one US paratrooper and a UK corps.
The Allies now have a single size 9 port. Still bad, but not catastrophic.

However by now the Luftwaffe is kaput.

Italy builds a mountain corps. Germany sends aid to Yugoslavia.

German manpower is at 52%.

Germany builds 100 supply trucks.
