Can PL-15 loadouts be added to J-15?

Weapon #3340 KAB-500S GLONASS
in the DB ATM, only the Su-34 carries them. the Deagle and manufacturer pages for the things also says they're deployed on the Su-24M, Su-35, and Mig-35.
The Su-24M/35 probably has loadouts with them that're identical to the ones they have with TV/Laser guided KAB-500, 4 bombs short range, 2 long range. Dunno about the MIG. Deagle also claims they're fitted to the Backfire and the PAK TA.

oh, this is interesting, supposedly MIG-29Ks went to Syria with GLONASS munitions mounted: https://www.rbth.com/defence/2016/09/14 ... ear_629957
Anonymous Sources from a source that is horribly pro-Russian in the first place, but maybe 29Ks can use Kh-38s and some form of GLONASS guided bomb like the article says? I have no idea how the heck to go about verifying such things, though.

Can we add a medium deck park to the Zumwalt Class? The flight deck seems big enough to hold a Seahawk with space to land another.

Hi, could you please add the AN/FPS-30 for the US? Unfortunately it's only in the CWDB. Thanks!
RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
Im was looking to create a Falklands War Sandbox, however I have come a cropper.
I set up a three aircraft dagger strike against Glamorgan/Arrow and Aclarity, went with the Standard Falklands loadout and noticed that the load out is Mk.82 LDGP bombs.
Heres where the issue begins, when using Mk.82 LDGP, minimum release height is 800ft AGL, my Daggers dutifully bunt up to 800ft and get swatted by the RN (As a brit not a disatisfying result), however unrealistic.
In an ideal world there would be either a button that allows you to ignore minimum realease heights in the WRA settings, or a specific weapon added to the Database something like a Mk.82 Falklands, with a release height of 50ft AGL but with a lower POH to take account of the lack of arming time , and then a new load out for the Argentine units.
I suspect to save time that perhaps an alternative could be added to the A4 and Dagger loadouts
It affects :
Dagger A (Nesher S Mod Mirage5)
ID #86
You could use the #14244 loadout as the template and amend the attack altitude to 200ft instead of the 400ft listed.
The change would be to swap out the Mk.82 LDGP bombs for the Mk.82 Snakeye (ID #1404)
And
A4Q Skyhawk (A4B)
ID #792
In this one there is two loadout changes , first the there needs to be a loadout for retarded Mk.82s , loadout ID #3092 could be used for performance with amendments made to the attack altitude, and the british 1000lb being dropped for two Mk.82 Snakeye (ID #1404).
The other loadout is one that allows low level attacks with heavier bombs, loadout ID#3092 is again a perfect fit, however swap the Mk.13 1000lb bomb for a Mk.18 1000lb retarded weapon (ID #1399 Mk.18 RET) and amend the attack altitude to 200ft.
You could add this to the FAA A4s as well but it seems a waste of time TBH, when the designer can add extra naval A4s to take account of the low level dimension.
I did look to see if I could use another A4 or Mirage Variant, the Mirages in the database have dont have any retarded bomb loadouts, and the only A4 is the USMC A4M with six Mk.82. Not exactly realistic.
Regards Butch

RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
Hey there,
I'd like to request an update concerning Czechoslovak, Czech and Slovak Airforces. I feel these factions are neglected at best, which I feel is a shame, being strategically located in the very heart of Europe. In many hypothetical skirmishes in the region, these air forces would be one of the top players. I'd very much like to see this situation improve with future updates.
Because I'm no expert on the technical side of things and my sole source is the internet, I am unable to include any information on the exact parameters of the individual aircraft, but I believe simple "reskins" of existing database entries would suffice (for the Fulcrums, Gripens and helicopters, at the very least).
Czecholovak Air Force:
-missing MiG-29A
Czech Air Force:
-missing MiG-29A
-missing MiG-229UB
-missing MiG-23ML
-missing MiG-23MF
-missing MiG-23BN
-missing MiG-23U
-missing MiG-21MF
-missing MiG-21UM
-missing JAS-39C
-missing L-410FG
-missing C-295M
-missing L-410UVP
-missing Mi-8/17/171
-missing Mi-24/35

-missing L-39ZA
-missing An-12BP
-missing An-26
-missing Su-22
-missing Su-25
-missing L-29
-missing Mi-2
-missing Sojka III UAV
-missing RQ-11 Raven UAV
-missing Elbit Skylark UAV
-missing ScanEagle UAV
-missing Wasp III UAV
Slovak Air Force:

-missing L-410 Turbolet
-missing Mi-2
-missing Mi-17
-missing UH-60
-missing L-39
-missing Elbit Skylark UAV
-missing MiG-21
-missing Su-22
-missing Su-25
-missing Tu-154
-missing L29
-missing An-24/26
-missing Mi-24
I believe a vast majority of these platform already exist within the database, therefore it shouldn't be a big problem to assign them to the desired airforces.
I hope these units will make it into the database soon!
Thanks for the effort, team!
P.S. - I'm new here, so sorry if this is an unnecessary question - but might I ask why exactly is the database split into Cold War era and Modern era? Wouldn't it be more comfortable and practical to have them combined? Thanks!

RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
I think the S-5 rocket probably even retired before 2014. For the past couple of years, the smallest rocket seen to equip Russian attack helicopters has been the S-8. For example, the S-5 was never offered for the Mi-17v5, Mi-28NE or Mi-35M.ORIGINAL: Jan Masterson

RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
Su-27SM deployed to Syria an on first photo we see :

R-77-1 missile on forward centerline pylon (and R-27ET under wing)
So it seems Su-27SM can use R-77-1
it would be nice to add ability to carry R-77-1 for Su-27SM in some AAW loadouts in database
P.S. it seems R-77-1 + R-27ET + R-73 variation of loadouts is new standard in RuAF for AAW

RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
AFAIK, one of the goals of modernization (Su-27 -> Su-27SM) was the expansion of the set of available weapons. Including RVV-AE.
RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
Many pages ago I have asked about 6 Kh-31 for Su-34. I got answer, that one photo with this loadout is not enough to add this loadout to DB. Ok. This is scheme of loadouts of the Su-30 from the site of manufacturer
http://www.knaapo.ru/media/rus/about/pr ... heme_b.gif
I see no problem that Su-34 can carry same Kh-31s as Su-30.

RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
I don't know whether this is an error or not, but the OLS-27 Rangefinder on the Vietnamese Su-27SK Flanker B has no max range listed (other rangefinders do).
According to this link, it's got a range of 70km, if that's any help.
