Beware of smiling Dixies! He's a Chess hustler! [X(]

Don't know what you mean

Did you see that BBC article a couple of weeks ago that said Lincoln is the geekiest place in th UK? [:'(]

Doesn't bother me. I only lived there, I was born in Plymouth [:D] I will say that Lincoln is the only UK city on Wikipedia which states it's ethnicity [X(] (97.8% white, if you're interested* [:D])

*Story from my youth

When I was growing up the level was higher, I was actually about 4-5 before I saw a coloured bloke for the first time when I was in London. Unfortunatly (for my Mum and Nan) I was going through my question phase that all kids go through:
"Why has that man fallen in the mud Mummuy?"
"Why has his Mummy not made him wash?"
"Why has he changed his clothes and not washed his hands and face?"
The questions were repeated to my Nan at the top of my voice, much to the hilarity of a bus load of people, especially a certain guy who was sat with a grin whilst my Mum was trying to shut me up [:D] The innocence of youth...

Well, The Dark Knight was a superb film, and I have to give credit where credit is due, Heath Ledger was simply phenomenal as the Joker. He outshone EVERYBODY in the film.

If he wanted to go out on a high point, then that was it. Excellent.

Watched it tonight. T is bang on the money. Do yourselves a favor fella's, go and watch it on the big screen. Superb movie [:)]

Isn't it illegal to say "coloured bloke" here nowdays? I thought that went out of the window along with calling people sunshine [8|]

I had a similar incident with my 6 year old daughter recently. We were on our way to the local park when we passed by a church that is very popular with the African community, we happened to be passing by just as they were all leaving the church.

"Daddy, daddy! All these people have black skin! They are all black!" Jas said, right when we were in the middle of them. Not wishing to look like a fully paid up member of the BNP or a KKK sympathiser, I tried to explain to her that they had dark skin because they come from a hot country and they have dark skin because it protects them from getting sunburned.

Think I might have done a better job of it than the reason I got when I was a kid - "God left them in the oven for too long!"

Bah...tell them we were all dark until the snow whitened us.

Hi Leo

Thanks for this. I have picked up Ad-Aware and now have three programmes working on blocking...

Are you in any condition for WPO? BTW, the chess turn is ready. [;)]

I can still play, it's just about finding the time between scans. My AV software is making sure I do not export anything to my friends. My keyboard is a real PITA. It is constantly missing strokes since this problem turned up. My processors ae working ovrtime running all my scans and blocks...
Firefox or IE?
Lucky for you, tonight it's just me

Eh? You can use any browser you want. Has nothing to do with your ISP.
