RE: Scenario changes and house rules
AGC report received as well.
OKH finished turn and over to Stavka.
The Russians made a surprise paradrop in Finland.
Surprising move, but distracting forces from the main strategic areas where we advance despite the delay due to the mud.
Breaking lines all across the front. With a bit of luck with the weather 1941 might be the year for a nice battle for Moscow.
Sevastopol cut off from overland supply as German and Rumanian troops move to the city.

RE: Scenario changes and house rules
Can someone post the following about this game if you have time?
date:
overall situation in each sector,
maybe a high lvl screenshot
I'm curious about balance in this scenario.
Thanks

RE: Scenario changes and house rules
Hi, I can answer only that it's October 5th 1941. Current screenies and sitreps would compromise our enemy's plans [:D] but I think an AAR from June could begin soon as we're, I think, far distant enough from the beginning.
As for balance, in spite of the tweeks we've done to increase the power of the Germans, I think this is a thoroughly Russian weighted scenario. If we lose it, it really is our (my) own fault.

RE: Scenario changes and house rules
I have made three screens of the attack of group Hoth in the area Vilna-Grodno-Byalistock from 22nd of June 41. So if someone whats to have them to illustrate the AAR, just tell me (jpegs, 140kB each). Have not done more screens later on in the game. But have still all files saved that we exchanged during the turns. Does anyone want to write AAR from German view and needs screens then tell me.
RE: Scenario changes and house rules
There's a vague plan that Barthhart and me were going to do the AAR, for Axis and Russia respectively, so ask him if he wants them. Sounds good.

File received.
OKH busy with domestic operations, but can already report clear weather across the entire front!
AGN carried out.
Leningrad cut off from mainland Russia.
Remaining Russian defenseline at Demyansk destroyed including the heavy equipment defending it.
Orders out for AGC and AGS:
Panzers will be on the move everywhere!

Turn to Stavka.
In week the Axis made very good progress thanks to the clear weather.
- Leningrad cut off from mainland Russia
- Defenseline at Demyansk no longer exists
- Luftwaffe takes revenge on VVS
- river at Mozhaisk crossed and many artillery taken out. German panzers are now very close to Moscow
- 9th army crossed river at Kaluga and is close to Tula
- Orel and the east river bank conquered
- 3rd Rumanian army and 11th army breaching fortifications northwest of Rostov
- 4th Rumanian army now stands before the Sevastopol fortified defenseline

File received, file and report out.
The bloodletting continues, the Russians enjoying the sunny skies no less than did the Germans.
NW Front
Finn's line broken, remainder hemmed in.
Massive air battles give Luftwaffe nominal, marginal victory but carnage on the ground as in following land attacks, AGN loses a handful more divisions.
West Front
New commander relieved. STAVKA resumes.
Hoth breaks his nose on Russian tank raid. Four divisions destroyed or routed, Hoth's HQ badly savaged.
South Front
3rd Rumanian Army frontline broken and artillery hit hard.
Elements of 4th Rumanian Army surrounded west of Kerch.
Army artillery hit and imobilised.
