We had a problem with corruption in all scenarios except EOS at x.655 level -
so this update is critical. Devices were shifted by one in Japanese cities.
We have some other refinements and eratta - and the rework of EOS for efficiency by Blitzk. Details on the RHS thread.
I took the time to run validation tests - and this should be working fine. I also took the time to rework Celebes - and mitigated the supply sink issue at Kendari rather effectively.
I will continue to develop utilities for players and work on a turn with Mifune. Fingers crossed nothing critical shows up.

RHS v1.6 resource util posted at send space
changes
This version extends national analysis to all types of supply and resources
and also calculates aggregate national production plus off map totals for
comparison to Axis totals.
Interestingly, these totals are on the order of 10:1 advantage in some categories -
which may be the correct range.
Note that as the game progresses, two trends will occur:
1) HI centers which change hands will be divided by half each time, and their production (and requirements) if operational will correspondingly decline;
2) Damaged resource, oil and HI will repair up over time. This is set in the US in such a way the process will cause these centers, and their corresponding production, to increase.
War damage will tend to reduce on map production, but near the map edge repair of locations meant to simulate growth of the US and Canadian war economies will tend to offset this. The reduced production areas will tend to be Axis, the increased production areas will generally be Allied.
The utility shows initial and total values - but does not show war damage values.
Similarly, it does not show what supply sinks or operational units eat. These are gross figures and they feed everything.
Note: daily analysis of isolated points indicates to me the manual may be out of sync with what happens. Many points seem not to produce any of certain categories of resources or supplies - and if they produce something (usually supply points or resource points - they do so at far less than the rate we are given. Possibly 1/30 of the rate! IF this observation is confirmed - we may be able to shrink supply sinks.

Do NOT use pwhex versions x.655 or x.642, period. Use a backup copy of x.641 - or download a new one.
In a few hours there will be an x.656 version. The two versions x.655 an x.642 have a problem that will crash WITP if you startup from not running. They appear to work if you never shut WITP down. [They DO work - but who wants to never shut down their computer or a particular program?]

3) USS Langley and USS Pelecan given spotter aircraft
4) A Soviet MS given its own bitmap pointer
Note this last means you MUST download the new two ship Allied MS art package.
A number of MS are now going to appear in 2 ship art form even though the ships are not actually in pairs yet. But that is what they look like working. Soviet, Admirable and Lapwing classes ARE pairs already on the Allied side.

and is this aimed at a first time user
We are looking at creating or getting a RHS team member to create an installer once all the dust settles and versions 5 and 6 are frozen in titanium for long term play
the would require a full install of everything into their correct folders and overwriting
with a choice of which drive\folder to install to.........
at the moment there are too many files getting changed to do via a auto system - you would have to create an install every day

I added the newest PWhex 6.xxx to an ongoing RHS CVO game, and the "path" to South Atlantic entry point no longer lines up with the map I have. On the southwest corner of the map, the path the ships are taking no longer follow the edges of the map, and the path they are following is at a roughly 45 degree angle to the map now.
Was loading the "summer map panel" a necessity for this apparent change?

Basically it`s a first try to compile a comprehensive RHS installer.
It`s planes art + ship art. It should install in the War in the Pacific directory

but you should always update map panels when they come out
what CVO scenario version are you running, should be V6.658 with v6.657 Pwhex

I am using that Pwhex file since it was released, and I have V6.658, but IIRC, that should have no ability to alter sea lanes, only oob's??

To my knowledge, it has been that way for some time. The map art does not match the actual route. I only discovered it using F6 in the game.
