They look so much like the locals they just walked into Padang and now own the place. I flew in some P-40's to guard the AF and 3 Aussie Brigades were already at sea in the IO waiting and are now closing in with 3 US CV's and 4 CVE's. KB north of Sorong.

Some of the Indian Army was muslim. It was a way for them to have a better life. Plus being a warrior was a cultural thing for many of them.

One time the British Army had a bit of a riot with Muslim troops after the rumor went around that the powder cartridges were greased with pork fat and you had to bite open the cartridge. [:D]
