Turn 38. Nov/Dec 1945. Allied #4.
Western Allies. PTO. Task Forces (1/4). Joint allied task forces ring the Japanese home islands. Though blizzard raging in the North Temperate preclude air and naval bombardment operations, carrier strike and shore bombardment task forces are still put to sea in the anticipation (hope) that the weather will change (i.e., snow, fine or rain) and allow these operations.
More importantly are the significant number of troops on transports to reinforce and/or flank Japanese positions through disembarkation.
