The only radio station I can receive clearly out here in the desert just converted to a 24/7 Christmas music format :(

I am already so sick of it!

Why do I listen to radio when I have Spotify? Well, the computer draws 2 1/2 amps on average so I can't afford the power drain to keep it running just to play music and since I don't have cable or satellite TV, radio is the only live news that I can get without sitting in front of the computer all day. Yea, the news still plays, but how much Bing Crosby can one take?

24/7 Christmas music on the radio is one thing, but apparently having a "play list" of maybe 20 songs makes it even worse! I just listened to "You're a Mean One, Mr Grinch" for the 6th d**m time today :P

We're having a run of cloudy days so my solar power is very limited and having only 9 hours of daylight makes it worse. Looking forward to the Winter Solstice so the days will start getting longer :)

*****

I've got over 20 gigabytes of music stored on my computer plus various Internet sources so I've got no problem finding music sources, but they have to be copied over to my Sansa Player for night time listening or else I'll be in the dark by midnight if I keep the computer running too long :(

Steve Hackett's Genesis Revisited Live at Hammersmith _and_ Live at Albert Hall (music from before Genesis sold out (and admittedly, became filthy rich)).
"Lose" is the opposite of "win." "Loose" is the opposite of "tight."

Awesome. Kirsty's death was a tragedy in every sense of the word. Thank you so much for linking that.

Did the Human League make it over in the States with their early stuff? I know Human was a hit over there when they corroborated with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis later on. But that was not THE Human League's definitive electronic sound.

They succeeded beyond their wildest dreams in southern California. We still listen to them and always will. Love Action along with "Seconds" are legendary hits. Elektro changed our conciousness.
