They started 5/42 so all the VP that Japan can accumulate in the first half year isn´t in the score because the game started after those "wonder months" for the Japanese.

Well another pretty boring day. My troops are resting at Rahaeng for the final push to take the base and I finished landing troops o Woleai. That battle should take a few weeks. Aftert hat it is going to be a move up the PI and onto Guam or Sipain.

I was also thinking of taking Pagan then Saipan or Guam. I hope by moving onto the PI he has less troops there as it seems he may have a lot in the Marainas.

Yep we started the 4/42 game. So the Japanese have a very high point value in base points. So I need to take places like PI and Singapore and Bangkok.

Have you had any experience with using kamikazies? I just got them and I am trying to figure out how best to use them.

Thye have not been used in this game yet, but I have experienced them in a few other games on bith sides. They can be deadly aganist unescorted ships (as in no air cover) and they do real well in taking on a cve tf, but when used aganist a cv tf with a lot of planes they do not do real well. The bigger planes also do better as they casue a lot of damage, while the little planes seem to do nothing. They also seemed like a one shot weapon becasue you then need tomove the remaining group to a base out of allied air range to ge tplanes and let them repair.

So I would say not to be to scared of them, but to make sure there is a lot of air cover because if they find a tf without aircover they can casue a lot of trouble.

Well another day and not much happening, I continue to put pressure on Rahaeng and hope to make another attack soon, my ships are moving towards PI to take more troops there and to make a proper base which can casue the Japanese problems.

On the day before this nothing really happened, but today I land a sizable force at Dadjangas, so now I can kick his troops out of there that we brought in. I bombed Woleai with B29's but they were not escorted bt they did a good enough job. I also continued to bomb Rahaeng, which I think I will attack the next day. Other than that the Japanese have been quite as they have suffered heavy air to air loses the last month. I also think they are waiting until they get Kamakazes to make another attack.

Well another good day for the allied ground forces. The allies kicked two Japanese units out of Dadjangas, these units came to halt the allies in buliding a base in the southern PI. Now the allies look to use the base to support landings to the north. Today also saw the British with a little American help stop the Japanese from moving across the river north of Rahaeng, the Japanese shock attacked and be defeated back across the river. It should take them soem time to make this attack again, and now up to 14 Japanese units are now hurting out of supply and no way of getting to Bangkok, it now looks like the British have a easy walk to Bangkok which then make moves to Singapore and Saigon next on the table.

The 2nd Marine Para Unit dropped on Zamboanga and captured it to start an advanced base closer to Manila. In China the Chinese are having trouble and do not have long to the terms offered by the Japanese. I other news another Japanese shock attack has stop at Rahaeng, the Allies will be leaving out of there towards Bangkok once a holding force arrives to beat off his shock attacks being done by out of supply troops from the north.
