The attached screenshot shows the end of the Allied turn on the Central Front. The hexes circled in green were gained this turn. Munchen was captured this turn and Praha was cleared. This section of the front won’t hold out much longer.

The attached screenshot shows the end of the Allied turn on the Italian Front. Green circles show hexes gained. The Western-Italy German forces are being destroyed, but at a much higher cost than expected.

The attached screenshot shows the end of the Allied turn in Yugoslavia. Hexes circled in green have been gained this turn. Also, note an attack to the north that failed badly.

Turn 14

Note that capture of Munchen reduced German replacements by 10% and supplies by 2%. Also, Allied approach to within two hexes of Berlin released the Festung Berlin garrison (four turns early).

The attached screenshot shows the end of the Allied turn on the Northern Front. Green circles show hexes gained. The Allies continue to gain ground, but it’s becoming clear that Berlin will be the “Twilight of the Gods”. Praha was cleared again, but still couldn’t be entered.

The attached screenshot shows the end of the Allied turn on the Southern Front (the Central front plus both the Italian front and the Yugoslavia front). The hexes circled in green were gained this turn. Note that the last supply point available to this section is now threatened by a French division. Torino was captured this turn and the German situation in Italy is disintegrating (finally). No progress was made in Yugoslavia – in fact, an assault to the north failed badly again. Note that the weather has thawed in Italy and Yugoslavia.

Turn 15

The attached screenshot shows the end of the Allied turn on the Northern Front. Green circles show hexes gained. Hamburg was captured this turn. Praha was finally entered this turn after the Germans couldn’t reoccupy it. The Berlin position is becoming clearer, and keeps getting stronger. There’s going to be Hell to pay. Note that the thawing has even reached the northern section of the map.

The attached screenshot shows the end of the Allied turn on the Southern front. The hexes circled in green were gained this turn. The last German supply point was lost to Allied patrols at the start of the turn, and no German unit was in range to recapture it before the Allies secured it for good. No more German supplies anywhere on this front from now on. Note that the thawing has progressed to the north.

Turn 16

Note that capture of Hamburg reduced German replacements by 10% and supplies by 2%. There was also a scheduled 33% German and 25% Allied replacement reduction this turn.

The attached screenshot shows the end of the Allied turn on the Northern Front. Green circles show hexes gained. The Allies blitzed through the North German Plain, finally. Berlin is now isolated – but far from finished. The magnitude of the task awaiting the Allies can finally be seen. Note that the thawing has reached even the most northern section of the map.

The attached screenshot shows the end of the Allied turn on the Southern front. The hexes circled in green were gained this turn. This part of the map is becoming a backwater.

Turn 17

The attached screenshot shows the end of the Allied turn on the Northern Front. Green circles show hexes gained. The Berlin defenses have finally begun to be seriously assaulted. An important HQ support for the southwest defense barrier was dislodged, at last – making those southwest positions unsupported. That will aid in their reduction.

The attached screenshot shows the end of the Allied turn on the Southern front. The hexes circled in green were gained this turn. Though still a backwater, this section heated up a bit this turn, with long-delayed attacks in Bavaria, Italy, and Yugoslavia.

Turn 18

The attached screenshot shows the end of the Allied turn on the Northern Front. Green circles show hexes gained. The Berlin defenses were heavily assaulted. Most assaults succeeded, but one giant Soviet attack in the south failed badly. The HQ support of that hex’s defense needs to be reduced before another attempt. Note that the last holdout on the eastern front was finally cleared.

Turn 19

The attached screenshot shows the end of the Allied turn on the Northern Front. Green circles show hexes gained. The Berlin defenses were again heavily assaulted. One of the HQ supports for the outer defenses was dislodged, allowing a more successful attack on those defenses this time.

The attached screenshot shows the end of the Allied turn on the Southern front. The hexes circled in green were gained this turn. The last VP locations in Yugoslavia were cleared. Note that more thawing cleared the last frozen areas in this section.

Turn 20

The attached screenshot shows the end of the Allied turn on the Northern Front. Green circles show hexes gained. The Berlin defenses were again heavily assaulted. Note that the Allies now have forces next to Berlin. The powerful HQ support for the outer defenses will be vulnerable next turn, even if Berlin itself may hold out. Note that the thaw has cleared the last frozen locations from the map, even on this section.

The attached screenshot shows the end of the Allied turn on the Southern front. The hexes circled in green were gained this turn. A couple of weak locations were overrun here, but the last two strongpoints need not be assaulted.
