The city is defended by 1/32 and the 681st RF Company and is reinforced by the 42nd Ranger Battalion stationed at the airfield. The attackers are halted with heavy losses by a stiff Southvietnamese resistance.[/left][left] [/left][center][/center]

All nearby combat units are rushed in to reinforce, including Project DELTA, the 5th MIKE Force, a USAF Security Police Squadron and the II Field Force LRP Company.
