19410516 : We push hard at his lines near Prussia. Position ourselves in the desert.

19410524 : We push at a very solid enemy. In the desert we try and get leverage to attack Cairo.

19410601 : An aggressive turn for the Axis. We respond to the enemy entering Romania. We press forward attacks in the East and expensive attacks in the desert.

19410609 : We are in significant need of a pause, but this turn we were very active. We had a chance to take Alexandria. We did land an Italian unit on the coast and take Jerusalem, which may draw some attention from the British.

19410616 : Nothing spectacular this turn as we grind away in the East and rebuild in the Middle East.

19410624 : We turn away from Lublin, and drive south, threatening a pocket. In the Middle East we take a hex next to Alexandria, and now have to staging hexes for each assault. The enemy is so strong he can defend both without having to choose between them.

19410701 : The advance in the south did encourage the Soviets to retreat, and we advanced to fill the positins they abandoned. In the Middle East we gained a better position for the assault on Alexandria. We would prefer to attack Cairo, but Alex will give us supply and a port. We do not have either objective yet, but our position is better. Our airforces could use another pause to rebuild, but we have learmed patience.

19410709 : Alex falls! The immense increase in supplies will change the campaign here, and the Italian amphibious assault forces have prevented strategic movement north. If we can take Cairo this immense, experienced Commonwealth army will fall. All this is the fruit of the capture of Malta, so long ago, and the naval battles which convinced the Royal Navy to not contest the control of the Med.

In the East we are pleased with the ratio of losses which is occuring. We are not making much progress in capturing land, but we are causing painful losses to the Red Army. It is interesting that we have yet to recapture a city.

19410716 : A rebuilding turn. The campaign to take Alexandria has exausted the Luftwaffe, and it will be awhile before we can go on a powerful offensive anywhere. The Italians have drawn British troops, but we cannot make use of the distraction.

19420101 : Happy new year. We have no units inside the borders of the Soviet Union. Things are cozy in Poland and Romania.
