RE: Yet another go at WaW
I am not sure who wanted to take Japan.
But jjdenver and Lunaticus had writen they were interested too. If one of them still is, maybe he will join as Japan player. Please ask both, thx.

Hey guys-
I've had a report of the Eastern Blitz card not working.
Here's the conditions. Playing Human as GE & JA, all other as AI. Purchased & played GE Pressures Axis card Oct 39. Played Eastern Blitz card April 1942 and it did not allow war to be declared against SU.
I've been testing this and Blitz card works with Pressure card in 39, tested that 3 different ways.
I'll be testing for the other years as well.
Person reporting has not been able to reproduce same results.
I would recommend not using Pressure card, though I haven't been able to find any problems yet.
Have fun.

Error Confirmed and duplicated!
If Pressure card played (unsure of when it must be played) & Eastern Blitz card played in 1942, it does not work, making it impossible for GE to declare war on SU.
This occurs in human games as well. Eastern Blitz card does work with Pressure card prior to 1942.
Cause is baffling me.
Be forewarned however.

Eastern Blitz Card Problem Discovered!
In versions C-K, Eastern Blitz card will not cause war with SU when played in 1942 or beyond.
This would result in SU never coming into the game.
It actually had nothing to do with the Germany Pressure Axis to Join War card.
Fixed in L.

Does this mean I (GE) have to play that card before '42?
Furthermore, Carthage must be destroyed.
RE: Yet another go at WaW
Yes!
If you don't, SU will never be able to enter the game.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

What? Russia is not able to come to war?
Guess you will get a ticket to Sibiria, comrad explorer2.
@Axis: Hey, are you cowards? Come and declare war or hide like an anxious rabbit in a hole.

I'm anxious to find a player to take Japan. No-one replies. I guess I could do it, but It's better with someone else.

@ Casus:
As far as I see there are three posibilities:
1) wait, til someone answers who is willing to take Japan
2) Casus, you do it (Barthheart and I cannt take Japan)
3) quit and possibly start a completely new game with new choices of sides
Guess 1) doesnt bring us far. 2) is something you have to decide. I can understand if you say it is too much or you are completely unwilling to take Japan for what reason ever. 3) In case we find noone else to join for a new game, AI might take it [;)]

I'm happy enough to play Japan, it just might be a bit slow, and I think it's better to have more players.

I'll go ahead and do a turn, and if no-one has taken us up, I'll just play Japan.

Gentlemen-
I deeply regret to inform you that structural damage to cities does not endure beyond the turn it is created.
Cities & resources auto restore completely at the beginning of each round.
Consequences: Strategic bombing and artillery bombing of cities still helps reduce cities defenses, IF you're going to attack that turn.
It will NOT lower the city's production ability or defense ability next turn.
My humblest apologies. I will continue efforts to remedy the situation. [:(]

Lets continue. Strategic bombing of a city is a crime anyway. Bomber-Harrys is sent on vacation.
Turn send to you, Casus_Belli, on thursday 21st. You have got it?

Yeah, he was an a*hole, not to mention whatsisname in the pacific, who McNamara mentions in Fog of War. Famous name that escapes me, as usual.
I agree, then. Got that turn and sent it to Tom. It's only a few days, I guess.
