On more than one occasion I have almost started conversations with various folks about events taking place in my current game.

Good for you; in my case, omit the "almost"

I too shall quit WITP (On the day AE comes out) and only after I finish my 2 PBEMs in progress.

We can give you a shot of Vitiaman AE when it reaches the market.  That should cure the WITP infection.

just play with people that live on a diff continent than you the timezone diff makes it where they can only send you a turn a day.

Heck, Mynok and I live about 20 miles apart, and we have difficulty playing 3 or 4 turns weekly. [:D]

That's because you are well adjusted, have a beautiful family and a real life. Mynok is a Martian , who keeps getting blown up by a cartoon rabit. [:D]

I have to say that our game turn usually spends more time in my inbox than his, but it's a relaxed pace for two busy schedules, and we're having a lot of fun.  [:)]

Dear Diary,

On the second day of my celibacy, I took up birdwatching.  I wore this nifty straw hat and roamed for miles through fields and woods and saw really, really, really cool things like a yellow-rumped warbler and a bluejay.  My life is complete...

Sincerely,

break your computer[X(] Damn i would have to break 3 of them and that is just way to expensive[:D] I to am an ex WOW player, still have 2 Lv 80s on the inactive account cause I just can't bring myself to sell them[8|]
never understood the mmo's myself.

Well put it this way, you spend quite a few hours getting to level 70 (or 80 now) you find yourself a raiding guild you work well with, in my case I was the king tiger (a defensive tank that was first one into the fight, and always first one usually dead) if I die, the raid is a failure and the raid will be dead in 20 seconds or less. I got a lot of pride being the main tank, I also played the underdogs (Horde side). When I was not dragged into a raid every hour, I was busy trying to get my herbal up. If I honestly didn't sell my account for so much i'd probably still be playing it. WoW was worth it for me up to the first expansion, after that it just wasn't fun having to re-level up and etc.

I feel it is the civic duty of any American forum participant to report this delusional being to the nearest rubber room site. Obviously this state of mind is only a stones throw away from going postal! Knowing the easy availability of guns in the US he better be grabbed soon. ool has made a very good point. Poor Canoerebel believes , for now, that not playing WiTP is a good thing. When in fact the rest of us KNOWS that not playing WiTP is a sign of delusional, dangerous, noncomformist thinking. Should we as concerned WiTP citizens discuss performing an intervention for Canoerebels benefit ?

Ool , if you are ever in the Washington DC area, please contact me. I'd love to play tour guide and perhaps put some of your fears and misconceptions about my countrymen to rest. [:)] If you would like, I'll even take you target shooting at one of the local indoor target ranges.[:D] Seriously , I'd like to show you that we are not the boogiemen-with-guns that some seem to think us. And what better place that our nation's capitol? I think it would be fun. And by the way , that goes for any other citizens of the forum too! Look me up! [:)]

Intervention is mandated as matter of personal safety! Canoerebel has been indoctrinated into WITP to the point every cell in his body is tainted. He is the WITP version of Borg assimilation. The best you can hope for is that he treats fellow WITP with some deference when he goes postal. To quote a US army counter terrorist sniper who is a friend of mine," When I go postal i save you for the last one I shoot!" God he is a considerate and dear friend. What can you say about such kind consideration? [:D][:D][:D]

Didn't mean to get into politics and get the Matrix, all bow to the almighty Matrix, angry. It was simply a reflection of the move by the mayor of New York speaking on CNN to have people checked for qualification to be able to own a gun when buying at the local gun shows which are exempt from screenings. Simply took this one step further to poke fun at Canoerebel.

One Canadian comic put it best when referring to the American second amendment," The second amendment was put in to be ready to resist an invasion of the US by the British. Well I've got a news flash for America, the British aren't coming. Also apart from the Canadian army who uses muskets anymore?"

Obviously with our troops in Afghanistan taking highest per capita casualty rate of any forces there this joke doesn't go over well in Canada anymore. However it was funny at the time.

Understood. But the offer still stands.

Point of law about the gunshow question. If there is no background check at the gunshows in New York, that's due to the Govenor and Legislature's decision. I the three states where I've either purchased guns , or been with someone who purchased guns (Maine,Florida and Virginia) at said gunshows, background checks were done. It sounds a little like the manager of a buisness complaining that no one is doing his job. Maybe good for political capital, but REALLY bad management. [:D] But no politics. You are right , they don't belong here.

The British are not invading us? Obviously you have never been to Orlando Florida in the winter! [:D]

I favor an intervention like the one they had in The Sopranos. Anybody see that? They surprised Christopher and started out all sweet, in chairs arranged in a circle. After about 3 minutes he was on the floor and they were kicking the snot out of him.

At the hospital Tony went in to pay the bill and the Dr. asked to have a word with him. Something like "I have some questions about your nephews injuries. He said he fell off the counter while spraying for ants??? [&:]" Tony: "Yeah well, he was wearing socks!"

A further law clarification - it has nothing whatsoever to do with guns shows. In many states private party face to face sales can be conducted without the paperwork. Dealers of any kind are never exempt from selling without paperwork/background checks. Some want to change that. Also, some politicians have proposed laws requiring anyone who attends a gun show would have to register with the government, on the grounds that anyone does so is a person who "needs to be watched".

I agree. We simply must have that intervention. [:D]
