Does moving in with the GF unit equate to putting on the Red Shirt?

[:D]

Maybe more like assisted suicide ?

surely you just pasted a collage of all the things that make a dog sad into one gooey picture!!

floppy ear - check
sad, confused look - check
'whats he pointing at me now face?' - check

and for such a mighty guardian, surely a name of great stature and nobility?

No....she's the dog that walked off a pier into the lake not realizing there was an edge to the Pier.

The swimming part i'm not sure about since she sank like a stone and GF unit pulled her out by her tail.

Very very old Anime. 1970's. In Japan, called "Space Battleship Yamato"

I havn't seen this since barely entering double digit age. Thank god for Netflix.

- don't wear a red shirt beaming down w/ Kirk

Case in point:

Image

Holy Heck that is funny. Can you imagine the poor schlub...he tries out for the part....then he goes back to waiting tables sweating out the decision for two weeks....then...joy of joys, his agent calls with the wonderful news, "YOU GOT THE GIG!"....there is a round of drinks for all at some place on Sunset...a $400 bar tab..then he spends hours practicing his "Ensign look" in the mirror...he calls his family in Des Moines...leases a new BMW...and...on the day of days he reports to costume dept at NBC studios in Burbank...30 minutes early and pacing back and forth in excitement...the jaded costumer shakes his head and pulls out some notes, then heads into the back for a few minutes, only to return with a red shirt[:D][:D][:D]

Rent "Galaxy Quest" There is a whole sub plot that revolves around this. [:D]

Even in the new Star Trek movie, which even I as a purist (pure geek that is) loved, the first guy to get killed on an away team is in a red shirt. Some things never change.

whilst it did indeed make me laugh out loud - is this not the campest pic of our 4 heroes - particularly your man Kirk, who can only be described as mincing across that barren land

for an even better laugh check this out. I almost spit my morning coffeee on my monitor as a result. The red shirt care instructions was great.
