B - with off-map boxes to handle the B-29 bases. Let's get to the nitty gritty.

P.S. - Also, be sure to include off-map boxes for Richmond, Charleston, and Atlanta so that Confederate troops and ships can join the invasion.

A - if someone plays the Japanese and still has some LR planes left, he'll be happy to come across the US forces as quickly as possible. Similarly, it's good for the US player to have all the options for his approach opened. I don't mind the open ocean hexs...

Well, if we get to include the Rebs....

But I think I will go with A ( but I will happily play B as well ).

Yee-haw.

I have never played anything but full campaigns in WitP and likely will not change with AE, but I would prefer A, that is, if I had a preference, that is.

Both! Why not allow either option, or perhaps have one "official" one and one that can be downloaded?

I agree, it would be great to have both options. One for those who want to jump into the meat of the matter from the first turn, and one for those who are happy to ship the 155th Kitchen Company across an ocean before things get interesting [:D]

I'm in favor of "B", to make it more of a scenario than a campaign

Gotta go with A. The Allies need the Air bases.

Okay, thanks everybody. It's going to be Option A, the Big One. I'll have to roll out some additional Japanese fun to balance it a bit.
