I must say that I don't understand the message of this poster... [&:]

I think it's trying to encourage people in to War Work as opposed to say an Office Job. Work in the War Factories. 2 of my aunts did just that during WW2 moving from Dorset to near London to do so.

Along with what our friend Moonraker said, the poster was addressing the human weakness of complaining about ones' job. The point in this case is that the man actually fighting the war was having more to sacrifice than the guy in a war plant who might actualy go home at shifts' end to a bed of his own choosing, etc.
