The morning raids concentrate on the A/Bs and A/Fs around London - several of them have units on them...but luckily only light ground losses occured.
Many of the raids are on low level (400ft or below)

Later there are raids detected by the Home Chain in Wales......it seems that Kevin wants to slip a raid through the Irish sea or the Bristol Channel.

It is clear that we need to react to the raids at Wales....but I have only few forces there.

And just as the focus shifted to Wales a low level raid is detected by Defiant patrols on the coast of Lincolnshire....this is not good.....the airbases here have up to 4 squadrons on them in a semi-resting state...

and just as my forces scramble to counter the low level raid, there are several more detected.........ahhhhhh.....we will try to bring more interceptors in the air....at least there seem to be no escorts

Scottland is also visited by Luftflotte 5 low level raids....one raid was detected when the bombs exploded on the air field....and the other one shortly before they crossed the coast.....

And as if that was not enough for the day, Kevins forces are incoming once again all raids are detected quite late (over my own territory)....but that changed....

In the night there were two more raids against coastal sites...the radar did not pick them up before they dropped the bombs.

It was a very good day for Fighter Command....the Luftwaffe C in C Kevin will not be happy with the outcome of this turn!

but not everything is well for the Empire - here the overview of my airbases.
You can see that Kevin is making good work at wrecking the airfields [X(] - I cannot really fly missions for bases with 50%+ damage!

I am also not happy with the industrial damage....Kevin was able to hit several factories very hard.

Turn 8:

There seems to be no way to stop the German forces....for a short time the AS was once again at 8!
This is because too many of my important FC A/Fs are cherry red...Iit seems that I cannot do anything about it.

Only way seems to be killing enough of the German forces........I was lucky to hit two of his coastal Stuka raids today, but the Germans also hit several A/Fs and some industry hard today.

Other than that....3 radar stations are back online [8D]

turn 9:

more good weather.
more German tactical raids vs airfields and radar sites.....but also night bombing of Portsmouth.
14 aircraft lost for 41 Axis A/C [8D]

more and more radar sites are coming back online, but the airfield sitution in the south is bad....really bad....15A/Fs damaged 50+ (=no sorties possible)

here a picture of a newer toy - the Spitfire II ....at the moment used only by this unit:

turn 10:

here is the radar situation in the morning.....it starts to look better....and I hope that the heavy losses during the last turns will stop or at least slow down Kevin.

until midday I was able to react to every enemy raid.....but in the afternnon my forces got too strung out to keep this effort going....
Raids that are not attacked have a much higher chance of a good bombing run......and now he starts hitting important sites.....
