can amphib corps HQ be devided and still influece landings? Do they need to stay one one ship?
Can they influence two landings per above thanks

If I recall correctly from previous discussions. Frags of HQ units perform no HQ function. They are nothing but support squads. The main unit performs the HQ function. Also, if I recall correctly, it does not matter how many frags have come out of the HQ unit, how disrupted the squads are, or how under-strength it is, the HQ has full HQ function.

Has wwengr's answer been confirmed yet? Do fragments of HQ's not perform HQ functions beyond support?
Also, I take it that without an AGC, you need to unload your HQ during the beach landing in order to get the HQ help during landings?

Amphib HQ only functions when loaded on an AGC and does not need to unload. In fact it should not unload unless for some reason you want to place additional support squads in the hex.
I have been inputting my orders for the campaign game first turn since July 4, 2009. I'm getting close. In another month or two, I might be able to run the turn!

What about a non-amphib HQ?

And, so we don't forget the main topic:  Has wwengr's answer been confirmed yet? Do fragments of HQ's not perform HQ functions beyond support?

Only Amphib HQ will load on an AGC. The Amphib HQ will only perform its command function when loaded on AGC's. All other HQ will function from land, not aboard ship. I have not run any definitive tests, but from reading on the forum and experience in play, I am certain that HQ fragments have no command function.

I have a question about the Asiatic fleet naval HQ at Manila.
Its a naval HQ, but it has no naval support, just regular support.
So does this mean that this particular naval HQ doesnt speed ship repairs like other normal naval HQ's wich have naval support?

My question is do HQs designated to be reconstituted appear immediately in the ground reinforcements list or do they show up after a while?
Just just wonder if I should by some HQs back now or wait some time because the manual states:
"Most HQ units do return to the game as a reinforcement if they are destroyed."
Is therr any way of seeing which will come back and which not?
