Not at home to double check on this, but any subs transitting the Malacca straights may veer too close to the Singapore minefield, especially if the minefields are "unspotted" (read: haven't yet blown anything up). Be careful about movement in those hexes around Singapore. I recommend waypoints with DIRECT and ABSOLUTE settings to move through the strait carefully.

An anecdotal note: I ran tests of my exact KB config and game setup against the AI at least twice with excellent results each time. Apparently PBEM/AI affects it as well.

If you wish to test that, simply run your tests as a PBEM game and load the Allied Turn 1 with no password and skip it (or set it to maximum defense to reflect how a human opponent would seek to counter your efforts).

The other benefit of doing so is that you can also load up the Allied combat reports to see how much damage was actually done and not just reported.

That didn't appear to be a very good result for you. I would have kept bombing it until you started to use some torps.

Had no interest in getting a bunch of pilots killed for a pod of old BBs and airframes. I'm not worried about anything at Pearl frankly. KB's purpose is to eliminate surface threats to a fast move through Borneo-Celebes-Ambon-Timor.

That was a nice coup at Hong Kong.  Freeing up the 38 Div this early can speed things along.  Where are you planning on sending it?

It is slated for Java along with the artillery.

Don't know about Netties.....maybe they can, but I was also under the impression is was only for port attacks.
