This is great news. Have you ever considered revising the '42 Scenario as well?

Yes, I am an avid player of this mod. The stock 1942 scenario also needs a revision -- with the latest 1.04 betas it's unplayable as the Soviets (attrition losses basically doom your entire front line to destruction before the 1942 blizzard), but would be better without so many static units, or with the ability for static units to gain replacements and not lose so much attrition.

I think it is in the next patch, which may (or may not [;)]) be available later this week.

Great mod. However, playing as Axis vs Sov AI on "Normal", all Sov units are Corps by Turn 7. A few Guards Airborne Div are not. The entire front is non-static Soviet orps-size units. No divisions in the rear echelon either. Just curious if this is WAD, or I should adjust settings against the AI to compensate for freebies. \again thanks.

It is WAD because there are no tools to change it.

Hi Jyri,

Just've discovered this really nice and elegant game, pity that didn't happened some 6-7 years earlier, lol. Please keep up a good work, I would like to try the final version of yours out.

Best regards,
Pavel

Hi Pavel!

Have you updated your Ukraine '41 scenario for TOAW lately? It had some really nice features like pro-Axis (or pro-independence) rebellions, which are usually lost in history, and many other details that could be utilized even with this game. [:)]

It's ATG, and my very own Panzer Recon Battalion.

I think I made many patches to better model the opening turns, but afraid I never submitted these changes to anywhere, as testing Ukraine's "sistership" scenario AG Mitte '41 took nearly all my time and efforts then.
Aside of unfriendly locals (which are, speaking in TOAW terms, are probably better modeled as guerrilla hexes rather than guerrilla units, with rather significant Lvov uprising being probably the only exception?), the another aspect which had considerable impact was that the locals were also comprising the mobilization flow for the fighting armies. These local conscripts generated even more disorder in the early days, when whole groups of them either did not arrive to their units at all, or deserted later. The process was not very significant to become a real problem, but it troubled at least the 5th Army command enough to express its concerns about locals in a separate document.

This scenario has become the stock 1943 scenario nowadays.
