RE: Five for Dune

Post by jreid »

I posted turn 12d to Jay a couple of days ago (1/12 at 11pm EST). I'm pretty sure that I moved the older turn 12 files to the archive folder at that time.

I took a look just now and saw "12b to Had" and "12c to REI" files. I downloaded "12c to REI", thinking that maybe it was the turn 13 file for me and just incorrectly named.

But when I opened it, it was in fact turn 12.

So, I'm a little confused as to why the "12b to Had" and ""12c to REI" files are posted again.

Was the intention to post a turn 13 file?

thanks

I think it's Jay's turn. It's been awhile. Does anyone know if he's out of town?

Eight days since a turn has been played... When / If Jay comes back, I say we all declare war on him for at least not letting us know he would be gone.

Yeah, sorry for the delay.

I've been feeling pretty sick the last couple of days and haven't been able to play my turn.

I'll try my best to get it in tomorrow night.

No meaning to interfere with the game and playing.
But would it be possible to see some screenshots, can be a few turns old. No need to reveal any clssified information.

I know that real life takes it toll on us all, so if no time for screenshots just a short post saying no will suffice- for the moment.

Have fun playing.

@british exil: At this juncture screenshots would probably give away to much information. We are currently in turn 16. The war like Burgundians occupied one of my (Sun Empire) cities (Sendai) which they were politely asked not to do as my forces were in a position to provide their fellow countrymen protection. Since the Burgundians ignored this request and occupied Sendai I, Sun Empire, exercised my right to evict them and free my people. After the Burgundians were evicted I, the generous Sun Empire, offered them peace. They instead attacked me. I was willing to overlook that initial attack, but they continue to attack. That has resulted in a general order for full mobilization. This world of five nations will soon have to decide where their best interest lay.

Webizen thankyou very much. I do realize that such a screenshot might reveal information that is just too senstive atm. I think you dealt honourable with the Burgundians, seem like a treacherous race.

Have fun playing, just post a few crumbs of information every now and then.

No insults meant Burgundia. Only joking.[:D]

Hey guys,

I'm going to be tied up for about a week, so I won't be able to play my turn.

I should be able to play again in about a week.

SOS... flux capacitor weapon has encountered technical issues delaying its operational use. Meanwhile Juggernaut Jeff is running over me with a wild herd of mechanical beasts! Urgent assistance is needed from other regimes to stop and then overcome these strange creatures.

I just played my turn and posted on drop box. Sorry for the delay, guys.

I am merely acting defensively against the combined might of the Sun Empire (7 VPs) and the Sultinate (11 VPs).

Combined, this is more than double my VPs!

My Burgundians are trying to hold steady in our defensive operations, but when the Sun Empire/Sultinate juggernaut prevails in this uneven conflict, then they will most probably turn on the Eastern Empire and Germania next and then, when all are overcome, settle it between them.

Attack the Sun Empire and the Sultinate before it is too late! Glory await those who will defy the aggressive and powerful Sun Empire/Sultinate alliance [:)]

Don't believe this propaganda! The ferocious attacks on Sun Empire by Burgundy clearly display a wildly aggressive campaign to conquer the world. Hordes of mechanical beasts are as I type this driving southward against me and toward Eastern Empire. I simply freed Sendai, my own people group city, from Burgundian oppession and then offered peace. It was rejected with a brutal attack on my defensive forces! Burgundy must be destroyed! [8D]

Check the DropBox. Something is out of whack. It appears that the turns are out of phase.
