EXCLUDE ship types? Banish the thought! [:)]

If three natives were running supplies b/t Lunga and Tassaforonga in an outrigger, I'd like that craft modeled in the game. Just my obsessive side I guess.

Thanks,
Nate

kudos to you but I can definitely live without having to issue orders to native outriggers.

Speaking of outriggers, I always liked this one I ran across a while back. I wonder if Don would consider adding these.... (VTIC [:D])

Thought about it, but no - it's World War I, too early!

None of these appear to have DCs. The S class have the single machine gun. Maybe they aren't featured in the game, in which case I apologize for the confusion on my part.

Many motor launches don't even have DCs. A couple types have only a single machine gun. [X(]

Care to nominate the HDML which don't have depth charges?

In the official campaign scenarios only the two S class don't have depth charges, and none are present in the scenario. All the Admiralty and Thornycraft classes do have depth charges and those are the classes the allied player receives.

Hmmm. Just checked scenario 1. These boats don't seem to appear in the game.

In the famous words of Gilda Radner: "never mind". [:o]

There is a drawing of the P 17-22 group with a stern DC chute in Netherlands Navy Warships of World War II (Lenton). The earlier classes seem to be little more than police boats. Can't find squat on details for the later (P-23) group.

The S series are interesting. They appear to be MASB-like (Motor Anti-Submarine Boat) with high speed. But again, no specific mention of ASw armament. The similarly size/speed Higgins MASB of the OJR class definitly do carry depth charges, so I suspect the S series might/should/were intended to carry them as well.
