True - but it all comes as a bit of shock when you suddenly find you can't do the things you used to take for granted - and then bits start falling off and the bits that remain stop working [&:][:(]

Come on now - you're ruining our mental image of the slashing, dashing English gent/historian/writer/footballer.
Wayne Rooney was b. 1985 - I was finishing high school. Talk about becoming old. You may have a few on me but you know too much about good music to be way ahead of me.

(allows himself a relaxed, self assured inward smile) why young natester you sell me so short. Surely you mean:
"Come on now - you're ruining our mental image of the slashing, dashing, suave, handsome, English gent/ historian/ writer/ footballer/ scratch golfer/ international lover/ bon viveur/ witty raconteur/ astronaut/ Super stud/ maker of exceedingly good cakes/ aristocrat/ Diplomat/ Olympian/ Oxford Blue and owner of over 5,000 matrix posts".

I wondered why it took you so long to respond; then I read your post and quickly realised that you needed someone to help you with the word tolerate - my that's a big word!! (the super smooth Englishman, sits back in his chair, his rapist wit having been used to belittle and demean the hapless young nate once more) Oh its just too easy (he smiled, beckoning the pert young Yvette to his side).

"Honestly," Nate thought as he finished up moving the 27th Fusiliers into position for the assualt on Bucholz Station, "who does he think he is?"
"Probably never had a proper girlfriend the way he always prattles on about his fantasy staff," he thought sadly. "Oh well, not everyone can be born in Ohio among all these corn-fed beauties."

Maybe you meant "...never TIRED of your method".

I'm wondering what is the value factor of those posts
Have you read in the news about the US housing market? The market saturated with homes/ price value goes down.
The forums market has been saturated so the value goes down.

FORUM? Nope, just certain thread. Stay away from threads you see no value in, like this one. I read all threads, even those related to the very few Matrix Games I do not own. I laugh, I cry, I curse and I...do nothing.

Some eight years has passed, and 36,000+ more posts. And soon there will be a new master of these forum. [&o] [;)]ORIGINAL: warspite1
On the 7th February 2012 I had the pleasure of being able to announce to you all that I had reached 4,000 posts. I know how pleased you all were for me.
Now, just over two months later, that total has reached an incredible 5,000 posts. Yes, 5,000 posts
. What is so pleasing in reaching this milestone is that every single post has had a certain something:
Wit, intellect, genius, inspiration...are just some of the words that cannot be used to describe the bilge I bore you with [>:] (if indeed you can be bothered to read - or in the case of nate25, if you have the ability to read).
But I could not have done it without my friends (in no particular order - except uhm alphabetical [&:]):
natester [&o]
Ormster [&o]
Steiner [&o]
Yogi The Great..er...ster [&o]

It has been a pleasure reading all those 41,000+ posts. The literary value has increased as the post number has increased. And that is an incredible feat considering how awesome the quality was in the beginning. Not even one superfluous post. All sheer genius. [&o]

RE: Really Important Announcement
It's not the size of the post count, it's the quality of the content.
I've been here since 2000 (don't go by what you see here). I've posted more than I want to think about.
But in 20 years, I have not found a place to keep me still there. And there has been several other places.
I'm still here, on the strength of who is here, regardless of how long you've been here.
