John Terry or Rio Ferdinand? That is the question.

We will know the answer soon enough.
Warspite1

I bet any money its going to be John Terry and Rio will miss out.
And you are right. Is it safe to discus this topic?

I guess it depends what you want to say!!

Was it right to pick Terry over Ferdinand?

I just read it. No idea if it was right or not since I have not seen much of Liverpool this year. But normally it is just easier to sack the manager for a bad result than blame the players.

In my opinion - and therefore a fact - yes.

Rio just appears too injury prone - and I'm fed up with England taking injured players to major tournaments.

As a human being John Terry is pond life. He also has his limitations as a footballer (and has been exposed more than once at the highest level) but you cannot deny on the pitch he has a real presence - Mourinho (in particular), every Chelsea and every England manager can't all be wrong.

Liverpool have made a decision I thought they would defer for one more year - he is King Kenny after all...

However, what have they done this year? Spent a flippin' fortune on massively over-priced players - Carroll, Adam, Henderson [X(], Downing - pur-lease.

They were incredibly lucky to win the Carling Cup against Championship Cardiff City and their league position was just not good enough.

Apparently this is an extract from the meeting with the FA just after Woy Hodgson's appointment:

FA Official: You know we will not have Wayne for the first two group matches.
Hodgson: (angrily) I'm not interested in the £$%^ing weather.

Right, with the domestic football season all but over, lets turn our attention to the Euros.

Who is going to win?
So who do you think are going to win?

I don't think you need to look outside the big four; Spain, Germany, Italy and Holland. I'll go for Holland - but that is with my heart, my head says Spain.

I don't think the USA qualified in the mens tournament - although are in the womens. Britain and USA are in different groups so may be we will meet later in the competition.

Yes. But it is not as exciting as the two other big football tournaments. I like it when all the best players are included in the teams and that is not the case with the Olympic games.

Each squad in the Olympic games can have eighteen players, of which no more than three may be born before 1 January 1989.

Roy cannot pronounce his R's properly. There was a bit of a furore caused by The Sun newspaper headline the day after Hodgson's appointment - something like

Its Woy
Now for the Euwos

All a bit childish to be honest but no harm meant I'm sure.

So what has this to do with Wayne and the weather? It explains the spelling if Roy Hodgson's name but I still do not get the rest. [:(]

I feel thick headed.
