My vote is the latter, and frankly, all the hostility around here lately is getting really boring.

Well no one complains about the endless non gaming threads...[:D][;)]

Sometimes things need abit of spicing up and a discussion on gaming in general is healthy and makes a change..[;)]

Anyway..

Is this going to be similar to OCS games where it's about logistics and supply etc? Or a straight forward wargame...

Oh I'm sure they do..... not that there should be an issue - it is a General Discussion forum after all.....

No problem with a healthy debate - I love a good constructive argument. Sadly this pricing stuff has just become downright obnoxious (not by all parties I hasten to add).

Not true. I can spell "customer" just fine, it was my typing that was amiss. However, if you're going to play grammar police, the proper phrasing should of been "What's too funny is THAT you don't know how to spell."

At any rate, this immature banter can end now.

lol, lol.

Well it's one thing to have a debate it's another for certain characters to come into a thread just to try to start a flame war ala mr. GJK there. I made a legitimate statement in the interest of customer service for the game. He on the other hand just tried to start something and contributed nothing to the topic. But, being the mature one I certainly won't let some sniveling child upset me.

I imagine you will have some informed responses once the forum for this title is opened.

Thanks

How can a straight forward wargame about the Italian Campaign NOT be about logistics and supply? The whole point of Operation AVALANCHE was to invade the Italian mainland at Salerno, within fighter range of airbases in Sicily, with the objective of securing the large port at Naples, so that the Allies would have sufficient logistics and supply to sustain continued operations. In the AH Anzio boardgame, players get to choose among the various major and minor port cities with different supply rates for where they want to make their landings. There are pros and cons to be weighed. German defense has to be flexible, but with an eye on using logistics and supply against the Allies or else you're toast. So I don't see this being an "or" issue.

It would be nice to see a forum, to see some comments about gameplay in this new game. Eh?
