That functionality is not available yet, we put cross-platform saving on the wishlist as people seems to ask for it.
RE: Enter your iPad questions here!
Thanks lord. And thank you for getting this game out before Xmas . I am simply memorized by this game on the iPad . There simply isn't any game that could even possibly touch this as a wargame on the iPad . I do hope you continue to support this game as I feel it's only a couple of patches away from being the equal to the PC version. Here is what I'd like to see sometime this next year.
1. Music/sound volume controls.
2. Advanced options. (This is simply a must)
3. Like in BA user scenarios (I and many others would pay for this)
4. Scenario editor (it can be done the real question is how far are you willing to go with this game)
5. When you release soviet corps please make sure you release the iPad version at the same time.
6. I just gave you $80 (along with many others). So please consider above options. Remember you are getting many new people who never ever had heard of slitherine...this is your time to shine.

>>> Yes, is definitely the plan.
3. Like in BA user scenarios (I and many others would pay for this)
>>> We are looking into this what is possible with Apple.
4. Scenario editor (it can be done the real question is how far are you willing to go with this game)
>>> Tricky one, but is under debate.
5. When you release soviet corps please make sure you release the iPad version at the same time.
>>> Absolutely, or in the worst case very close together.

Also when people hit the dev web page it takes you to slitherine and not matrix. I mean no disrespect and I apologize if I come off this way...but to me (just my very own opinion here) that matrix site seems more polished and more detailed than the mother site. Are you guys looking into an overhaul? Please don't take it personally as I do enjoy your site. One thing that stands out from matrix is the tweets section. Wish matrix had it.

Great port of the PC game, love what I see so far, but do agree, the music needs a off switch please. Being a portable version now - it must go bye-bye.
Keep up the great work and thank you for giving us this.

Thanks for feedback, that music switch is our top priority at the moment.

RE: Enter your iPad questions here!
is there a movement table which lists how much it costs for certain types of units to enter certain terrian (like tanks entering a forest, or track / half tracked movements in rough or mountains, etc)? That would be much appreciated.
RE: Enter your iPad questions here!
...grenadiers are now allowed to use air transport and take there own vehicles with them and then embark on another airfield along with their vehicles. Is this a bug are has this always been this way? Just checked the PC version on my laptop and when I use air transport with grenadiers have to abandon truck first so I think this might be a bug. In all my years of playing I have never used air transports to ferry my grenadiers from filed to field never really had a reason to thought I would give it a try on the iPad tho!

Another thing I noticed which might be confusing to new players is that infantry and artillery transports are not shown in the unit info screen like they are in the computer version of the same game. You only know if a unit has a transport once you select it to see how far it can go. Damn wish I was a beta tester for this game.

Well I'm finished. Almost 50 hours on field marshal and I've done it. Just like the PC version I had to replay some scenarios several times to get a DV. Right now as this game sits I would give it a middle "B". I would say the 19.99 is a fair price for this game. This is not the PC version tho. Many options are left out. The three levels after "Field Marshall" don't work and if indeed you win this game on FM and say select Rommel you are in fact selecting "sergeant" level of play. I have only played one scenario of the dcl 1939 campaign so can't tell you much about that yet. If they do in fact patch this game up it has the potential of being indeed an "A" game. Cheers will report back after Christmas on the dcl 1939 campaign.

To the person asking if there was an easier way to see how much prestige it will cost to upgrade your units, without clicking on it and accidentally purchasing the upgrade it you dont want it.
That was very annoying to me, too. The way to get around it is to click and hold your finger over the conscript or elite upgrade to see the cost, then drag your finger away before lifting it off the screen. That will not make the purchase. So, you can preview the cost that way before clicking to make the purchase.

RE: Enter your iPad questions here!
Two questions about the iPad version:
1. How can you see the campaign scenario listing flowcharts in the library, like you can in the PC version. The PC version has all the campaigns listed, and you can click them to see the scenario flowcharts. My iPad version has no campaigns listed, only units. Is this feature missing, or am I doing something wrong?
2. How can you see the battle prediction screen like on the PC with ctrl-click? Is there a way to get this screen on the iPad?
Great game by the way. I never thought I would buy a game twice, but this is awesome on the iPad. I just got Battle Academy tonight with my Christmas iTunes gift cards. More excellent gaming!!

RE: Enter your iPad questions here!
This is the thread to ask iPad questions, but nobody knows? Perhaps the moderators and developers are on vacation still? I am just curious, as these are pretty important features in the PC version that seem to be missing from the iPad version.
Thanks!
Thanks!
RE: Enter your iPad questions here!
Hi. I have been told that these features will be included at some point by patches. To see the battle predictions simply tap the unit you want to attack with and then move your finger over the unit u want to attack. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the response, rogo. I know about the simple battle predictions. I guess I was referring to the detailed attack data that you can bring up by pressing ctrl-click on the PC.

RE: Enter your iPad questions here!
I posted this in another thread, but that thread kind of got hijacked by my question, and I apologized there. So, I'm adding it here to the official iPad question thread.
Rudankort posted that the campaign tree images will not be put into the iPad game library, but instead they will be in the manual, which is not released to us yet.
I REALLY hope you will reconsider adding the campaign tree images to the iPad library. They are just images. I'm sure there is coding involved, there always is, but this is not game functionality. It is just a static image. Is there a technical reason that they cannot be put into the iPad? I cannot imagine why you can't put these campaign tree images into the game proper.
It would be much, much more useful to have the campaign trees in game than having to exit the game to the manual to see them. The PC has them, so the iPad version should have them.
