I've been exploring HexDraw but I seem to come up with all kinds of errors with the trail version. Not filling me with confidence right now...

When I first started using hexdraw, I was not satisfied with the trial version either. Eventually I simply switched to a photoshop clone and went from there.

Seems to be a permissions error.

Not sure about errors with the trial version but I've made multiple different styles of maps with the full version and it works great.

The default installation folder is the program folder from windows. The latest window versions don't accept any write actions within this folder.

Solution: don't use the suggested folder but install to (for example): c:\Hexdraw demo
