So Sickening I have to Laugh...

Post by Orzel Bialy »

Ok...another SU-57 sitting on a hill with it's squad around it...I pop out of the woods with a JpzIV...and take aim...Bang...Swish....DINK AGAIN!!! I mean it's so d@mn bad with this now that I can't even get mad...I just chuckle to myself and take another swig of beer. :)

The only thing that comes to mind is: "What in the the Holy F*** are the SU-57's made of?" Did H2H give these things Titanium armor plating or something?!?! :p
If I did a data study (At least in this game that is) I think I would find that it takes as many 75mm rounds to kill a SU-57 as it does for a 40mm gun to pierce a Tiger!!! :D

Arghhh...ok then, here's the turn. Outside of the above mentioned action, precious little to report...which is turning out to be a God-Send in this little Tiff! ;)

It would be the same steel used on M4's and they burn easy enough. :D

Ok, SU-57 creeping across wide open middle.... AMBUSH!!! Rounds are flying all over the place as a StuGIV, a PzIVJ, and a JPzIV/70 jump him! End result.... Dead T34/85, dead PzIVJ, dead StuGIV, a dented (alot) JPzIV/70. We are making our half tracks out of the same thing you make those tank killers out of. BONK! DINK! CLONK!

Elsewhere, some infantry fighting, a PzIVJ scores two kills in the south (both SU-57's, the armor malfunctioned maybe?), and my mortars still pound suspected enemy positions.....

Wow....look at all that Armor...

Post by Orzel Bialy »

jeez...I would never have guessed that Goblin had about thirty T-34/85's hiding for the final push. ;)

Even with the advantage of height and a better rate of fire...What few AFV's I have left fire once and then are surpressed by the volume of return fire. Ten shots...two kills...not a rate that will attain victory I'm afraid.

Boy...can't wait to see how the next turn ends up.

It's a bit fewer than 30, but I do have a couple of them there. He lost a JPzIV/70, I lost an SU-57. A second JPz took around 9 rounds, 57mm and 85mm, and is still there! I am getting irate as well now, and will take it out on any hapless SS Grenadiers I happen to find....

some more killing...a SU-57 and a T-34/85 I believe...but not without losses myself.

Twice I thought that I had a chance to even the score with my Panzer Faust crews...the first one was on the wooded road in the center of the map...survived defensive fire and got 4 shots off but no kill even though it was on the flank. D@mn!!!
Then to the south...SS Grenadiers rush forward...survive the feeble defensive fire from some supporting conscripts...launch two PF's at a couple T-34's in the same hex...and nothing!

Then to rub it in a bit more...My Tiger makes a cameo appearance and misses with all three shots! It leaves me with my head down on the computer table...wondering what the Hell is going on!

Cleared several SS and Pzfaust units this turn. They managed to ruin the driveline on an SU-57 in a close assault. Mainly got my tanks in order this turn, as they have been taking a beating in the center, and that Tiger is still there too!

Well, Goblin wasn't lying that he cleared a good portion of my supporting infantry units out of the way...just one less thing to worry about I guess. :D

I did get a short view of a rallying point of T-34/85's...oh if I only had four more tanks!!! I would rush it and try to cause havoc...D@mn those losses to those puke SU-57's!

Anyway...just trying to gear up what I can for Goblin's Big push...since there are only one set of VH's left in my area I'll assume he would like to have a complete victory. :D

Found another Tiger. An SU-57 got baked by a StuGIV up north, so I pulled a PzIV up to try and get a shot on it. Recieved an 88mm greeting. BOOM!

I will not have time to take your rear hex, there is only one or two turns left, and I am NOT going to send a tank barreling up the road to see if I can 'make it'.;)

It's pretty much over...

I have the high ground right now...and there aren't enough turns left for either of us to do much more. Well, I should say there aren't enough turns for Goblin....for me, there isn't enough of anything to do much! :D

I'll just wait and see how bad this one is in the points at the end...ugh! :(

Killed an annoying SS Squad. FLAME TANK, oh yeah! That is about it. Enemy tanks are moving forward on the flanks, especially the north, but I declined to initiate action with them (one is a Tiger, that is why;) )

I can't see anything "manly" about an army that fields M4 Shermans as standardized equipment. :p

OTOH, not SdKfz 251's either

The tanks are girly, sure, but anyone who would use one has big brass ones! I specifically meant that you could disavow your allegiance to girly land and join the men. Your pick...pillowfights in your underwear with Doom and Orzel, or battle and mayhem with Goblin and Jess?
