Steam currently has the community choice vote up for 80% off Panzer Corps. No way it's going to win because it's up against a FPS game.

That is a great deal on some of my favorite games. You can't go wrong with the Cossacks series... I've had so much fun with them.

Hey Rhonda, I'd be careful about those paradox prices on their website! I saw Way of Life for Crusader Kings II on Steam for 7.99, $2 less. I think!!

That was sitting up at the top of their product list without any discount when I viewed the page. I guess since it's a new release. The other titles seemed to be comparable to Steam deals that have popped up during the past month. Note that buying through Paradox just gets you a Steam code anyway.

One must always cross check prices, you are quite right.

Still, it's the biggest fun of the season for me... who needs Christmas trees and all the traditional holiday trappings? Bah... humbug! My family can enjoy that back in Indiana and Guam [:D]

The Latest Sales News plus Goat Update!

Post by rhondabrwn »

Bump!

Europa Univeralis IV and DLC's at 75% off at Gamer's Gate. Stream is at 50% off.

Steam has Age of Empires II HD for $3.99 which is a pretty good deal for that classic.

Steam sale ends on January 2nd at 10 am so time to make your last sale purchases. Lots out there with discounts down to 90% on some titles.

Goat News:

Winter Kidding Report: Born 5 kids, One baby killed by the horse stepping on it and breaking her back before I could grab her and put her into the kid pen for safety :( One of those things... I woke up, looked out the window to see Aurora with two babies, ran to get my muck boots on over my PJ's, and by the time I got outside one of the kids was screaming with the horse standing on it while licking the salt block... never even noticed what he was doing :( And just that fast, my day went from joy to sorrow. I take comfort that Aurora still has one beautiful baby left though... named her Snow White.

**************

The same day I discovered my well head piping had frozen and burst when I went to fill the cistern. Didn't notice till I had a thousand gallons or so of water all over the ranch yard (which is now a frozen lake). Kinda funny watching the stallion slip on the ice.

Winter on the ranch... you take the good and the bad and just try to keep warm and alive.

Happy New Year friends!
Love & Peace,

Far Dareis Mai

Among others games B-17 Flying Fortress, Silent Service, Across the Rhine and Command HQ for $3.50 at the moment.

If you haven't bought it yet, Birth of Rome is still available for 9€. I bought that... last year (heh), but from christmas till today I've got myself play more Panzer Corps Grand Campaigns. I'm gonna play western front campaigns, and for eastern front I'll buy & play Unity of Command. Heh, that too is available for 9€! Credit card credit card...
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

Skydrift for $1.50

Post by rhondabrwn »

Been watching this for awhile, looks like some good arcade flying fun. This is the lowest price I've ever seen on it. Can't go much better than 85% off... expansion is only $1

http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-SKYDRIFT/skydrift\

This is a Steam game, but Steam is full price at the moment.

Total War Shogun 2 for $7.49

Post by rhondabrwn »

Last chance sales at Gamer's Gate

I've had my eye on Shogun 2 for awhile and this is about as good as it gets (75% off). Sadly, my funds for games are depleted so this may have to wait another year.

People here might me interested in World War One Centennial edition in the latest Indie Royale bundle (it's in the Plug-In Bundle if the link doesn't direct to it automatically):

http://www.indieroyale.com/

$2.78 for it plus a bunch of other games I haven't tried yet for the next day or so, but seems like a very solid game from messing around with it so far.

There's no 2k baseball in their list on Steam?? why not? I'm dying for a modern day PC animated baseball game like The Show. Last great animated PC baseball game I played was Front Page Sports Baseball 98. I can't get it to work on XP or Vista though. [8|]
