This is a "service release" for v1.07, containing a number of issue fixes and database requests.

Changes since v1.07:
===========================

#9501: Machine guns cause outsized fire and flooding

First thought reading the notes: "Did door gunner McClain get nerfed again?" [:D]

about:
"- 0009037: Updated info on UKSK (new Russian universal VLS) "

it only can use #1173 - SS-N-26 Sapless [P-800 Onyx]? not very universal as it should be

citation from "Agat" site:

"3R-14UKSK-Kh Ship General-Purpose Firing System (SGPFS) is intended for installation onto surface ships under construction or upgrade and ensures engagement of surface, underwater and land-based targets.

The following types of missiles are used in SGPFS 3M-54TE, 3M-54TE1 , BrahMos PJ-10 antiship missiles;
3M-14TE, BrahMos PJ-10 land-attack missiles;
91RTE2 torpedo missiles for underwater target engagement."

Is this update available in the standard .zip format instead of the .7z format? I would prefer not having to download and pay for yet another file reader.

7zip is free: http://www.7-zip.org/

And achieves a far better compression ratio than zip.

Is this an official update, except Matrix hasn't created the installer yet? Or is it a public beta test update?

No its a public beta which addresses a number of issues.

Matrix doesn't sign off on anything we do. Fact it usually works the other way around[:)]

thanks!

works fine... you people are the best!

btw always extract .7z files with 7zip. had some funny hickups with other unpackers, crc errors.

I am unable to get 7Zip to work, so there must either be another solution using the regular zip format or I am finished. I've worked with this for hours and have had nothing but trouble. Why in the world you would change things that work so well and replace them with headaches is beyond me.

Install 7 Zip
Download the file
Open the 7 zip program
navigate to the file in the 7 zip program
select it which should open it
You can then copy all the files in the 7 zip app into your command folder.

Video here which hopefully shows how it works

Is anybody else getting a "Bandwidth Exceeded" error message when you try to download the file from copy.com? The full message reads-
Bandwidth Exceeded
Sorry, this content has run out of bandwidth.
(error code: 1065, path: /pmU3zEGVbkPlCYn0?download=1)

I've been having the same issue with the Database Images & Descriptions Add-ons download... I'm not trying to use the cloud storage or anything. Just trying to download locally as I've done many times before. But lately for some reason, it won't let me?

Sorry for that, moved to another DL source which should resolve this issue.
