Centurr, with the save you corrected would you be able to add a saved oil into Tokyo as compensation for another issue. Appears my Axis opponent has his economy running on a fine edge and really needs the oil.

Actually, if you could do this Centuur, I would need the saved oil in Palembang removed, and put two saved oil in Tokyo.

Centuur, you fixed the conquest save however its the wrong version for us as we are using 2.3.4

You have corrected the save to the latest update 2.4.3

Is it possible to correct in 2.3.4?

I've made a typo when correcting the file, sorry about that.

Open the file with notepad and change the version number which is in the first line of the gamesave. Should do the trick.

No luck with that unfortunately. Looks like its going to load, finishes loading but none of the windows appear.

Probably because the adjustments were made in the 2.4.3 version? Its easy to transpose those numbers. Peter, is it possible for you to go back into the original version Majorball68 attached above and make both corrections (hex and oil)?

I've tried it again for you (perhaps I made some sort of mistake, I don't know).

So this should work. If it doesn't than I'm out of options, I'm afraid.

It seems to load ok but when it gets to the end of the load screen it appears to finish but none of the game windows are anywhere to be found. Its open in task manager though and I have to shut it down there before I can start any other games.

Well, it appears there is some difference in game save file reading between major versions 2.3 and 2.4. I've fixed the file but needed to do it using 2.3.4.1. Prior to that I was having the same problem as Majorball68 reported.

This file is from the same phase, so you guys can advance it since a lot happens. But the CW units don't teleport and now the Palembang oil plus 1 is in Tokyo.

This file will now open in both 2.3.4 and 2.4.3 versions. (These version numbers are starting to remind me of the Beagle Boys' serial numbers! [:)])

We hope Steve can deal with these bugs when he gets around to it and hope it contributes to game improvement.
