I think you want the new victory conditions. The old ones gives each player a choice between 4/5 missions, that they can win the game with, the New one is one that determines the winner by the number og VPs they have, and you need 2/3s of all on the map, of which half can be had by allies. The player that first gets to that victory condition is awarded a major victory, and all those that are allied with the player, a minor victory.

Yep, I do like the old ones. They represent a different form of strategy. Ok, going with the new victory conditions and going with PBEM protection off.

Any objections?

I think you guys may want to ask Lordlau1 to redo his turn... as he DOWed Yugoslavia, and ended up in a war between Italy and Germany... Not good, since he is playing both.

Yes if Lorlau1 can replay the German turn 1

We don't really have a rule book for the MOD and to be fair there are only one or two House rules, this is one of them, not sure if we have any others.

House Rule you cannot Declare War on a minor power that has most friendly status to a ally or major power that you also have control of. It stops phoney wars being declared then immediately peace being made having acquired a minor power for no expenditure of no PP for influence.

You can check who is most friendly to a minor using the check minor card in the strategy options, to check costs nothing and is handy for seeing how close you are to 800 points of influence that being the tipping point where rolls commence to determine if you take full control of a minor. 1000 points and no role is required the minor will automatically become your satelite.

The same check minor card will tell you the odds of forcing a minor to surrender by placing overwhelming force on a minors border the declaring war on the minor. if your role succeeds then the minor surrenders all its forces are removed and you gain control of the minor plus all territories it possesses, if the role fails you are then at war with the most friendly Major power of the minor.

I will have some difficulty playing Game 27 since I have not been invited to join the dropbox.

Sorry Larry error rectified. the file is a zip we don't normally zip the files but may be a good idea as it takes only a fraction of the storage space.

The .at file is already compressed, no need to zip it.

Hey, I'm trying to sort out some confusion. I'm Armoured Lion (not Lion of Judah) and received the turn. But, I believe it's supposed to be Lion of Judah as per the list above. I said I'd play UK / France, but I thought I got bumped when I saw the list and Lion of Judah's name attached...then I received the turn yesterday. So, in summation, I'd like to play, but I want to make sure the correct player is playing.

If you read the messages above Lion of Judah requests to play UK/France.

I have only played 1 turn of the Soviet Union I will PM my password to you, and you can take over the Soviets, we have multiple threads on the start of this game so this is why you were omitted from the start my apologies. I had counted myself out of this game originally so I have no worries about dropping.

I e-mailed Falco its a simple matter of a turn played China and the German turn has not been posted. Waiting a reply from Falco.

When Falco has downloaded the turn he deletes it at dropbox.
I think it is a good way to let all others know that game is in progress.

Gents,

Are we using the weather in Game 27? If we are, we need to restart.

Also, is this the proper player lineup now?

Germany Italy lordlau1
Japan Larry (LJBurstyn)
USSR Ironduke (Gazfun)
France UK Lion of Judah
USA RufusTFirefly
China Falco
